I was interested in cars, engines, and design which is why I chose this course. The faculties are quite good white have experience and all of them have PhD in their respective subjects. The exams are moderate in terms of difficulty level and with regular study of 2-4 hr constantly you can easily pass.

They usually have two rounds and after clearing those you'll face a personal interview. There are many project proposals. You can reach out to your professors and show them your potential and they'll surely get you into their upcoming projects or currently running projects or you can go solo with your research and find the people of interest as yours and partner up.

After the completion of the 6th sem, you can look for placements. After the completion of 2nd year, you can go for internships. There were almost 2500 offers made and with an overall average of 24lpa in Btech. 403 companies visited. The placement percentage is around 80%. The highest domestic package was of 64Lpa and the international was 1.8 crores. My plans include getting placed in a good company or tech company as I am preparing for both core and tec placements.

The fee is about 219000/year and increases by about 10000 each year. The facilities are quite good with AC classrooms, good labs, research opportunities, and many more. You can avail of various scholarships with your good grades. If you are having a poor financial background so the government also provides scholarships based on the yearly income of your household such as merit scholarships by the Delhi government applied only to tuition fees. The college also provides a 100 percent scholarship if your family is financially weak (economically weaker section) on the total fees. You cannot avail of more than one scholarship.

Our annual fest is well-praised in Delhi and known as the best cultural fest in North India. There are various scholarship learning opportunities and interactive sessions organized by organizing committees with entrepreneurs and new talents. There are many cash prizes to motivate the students to take part in competitions and give their best. Our tech fest is also well-praised and organizes seminars, hackathons, interactive sessions, and many more opportunities. The library building is separately built and consists of two floors with centralized AC and each floor is assigned to various courses available at the college. You can find almost every book related to your course and is easy to find because of their office library website and can be issued for a semester. The classrooms are well constructed and each department has its classrooms in the departmental building. The sports campus is huge with three tennis courts, one football court, one cricket ground, and two basketball courts.

You Should opt for PCM or PCMB on the 11th so that you'll be eligible for giving Jee Mains examination after you complete your 12th. After the declaration of the result of your Jee Mains examination and scoring above 85 percentile, you can opt for branches above mechanical engineering to CSE(above 95 percentile). After the declaration of the result, the JAC counseling window will open where you can apply for your preferred Btec branch according to your percentile by selecting it in your preferred college. After the few stages of the counseling, it will show you which seat is allotted to you and you have to pay the seat allotment fee (for me it was 110000 lakhs). Then your document verification of documents will be taking place at the given venue. After all that you are all set to start your 1st year at DTU.
