Friendly Environment to study

The college is good for learning, but if it had more focus on practical learning and placements is would have been much better. My overall experience of staying at hostel and learning was good. The facilities and food and all are good.

The entrance exam for getting admission in this college is common entrance test conducted by kochi university. After the exam scores were out, colleges are allotted as per your score.There was no as such interview process. After during graduation i decided to go for a post graduation and therefore i ended up choosing MCA so that it would be useful in my career aspects.

The course was quite good. But practical learning was less than i expected. There are good labs but according to the curriculum the focus on practical learning was less than theory. There are many research initiatives taken from the college's behalf.

The college does not provide any internship, the student himself has to go out of the box and find his way. After the completion of first year you have to go out apply at other companies and go for internship. At that company there was no stipend provided.

During our seniors batch there was good placement but during our academic year it was a drought. Not even a single company visited the college. But the college supports the students to get placed so the college provided facility for taking the students to open campuses. The placement percentage is low.

There were many events cultural as well as technical.the campus infrastructure is quite good and events can be organised well.

The fees is affordable and according to the fees it worth studying there. It is 50,000 per year and this is paid in 2 installments, 25,000 per semester.

There are loans and scholarships provided by college. There are scholarships for students from backward caste and tribes, Muslim students etc.

I used to stay at hostel. The rooms were quite congested at first then once the seniors left, we were allotted new rooms. Rooms were of 2 types- 4 sharing and 8 sharing. In the $ sharing room study room was separate and in 8 sharing room study room was attached.The fees was in between 2500 to 3000 per month. And the food was very tasty.

There are many exams in a semester that really makes the student feel pressurized.

The faculties are well qualified and experienced, but some of the teachers lacked communication with the classroom. In there field they are good enough. But i wished if they could be more interactive. The standard of teaching is good. Most of the teachers used english as the medium to communicate.
