Good environment to study.

One of the best Colleges. Proud to be an Aloysian. Only remark would be that is we want the absence of clash between the traditional minds and the modern generation. St Aloysius College is one of the finest colleges in the region for Under Graduation and Post Graduation Studies in the Southern Region. It is an Jesuit Institution and has completed more than 135 years already. Situated in the Heart of the Mangalore City. This is one for the best colleges to study and I'm proud to be an Aloysian. This college has a bast history and has set an example in the society. They've created able men and women for the society. You've got the best infrastructure, best faculty and above all a good environment to study.

Basically, I didn't have to write any Entrance Exams, they admitted me to the college based on my marks and I wanted to do my Bachelors in Commerce and I got admitted here for what I wanted to do. My marks were impressive and they admitted for the same course which I had applied for.

Bachelors of Commerce is purely based on practical. However, our Education system doesn't give much importance to the real life practical learning. But the college has some how managed to get the best practical learning to their students as it's an autonomous college.

We never had such opportunities for internships. But we were notifed by the Placement Officer if there were any such opportunities.

We've got a good Campus Recruitment in our college. More than 50 companies that are well known come to our college. Companies like IBM, INFOSYS, NORTHERN TRUST, GRAND THORTON, HSBC, EY, COGNIZANT, WIPRO, ENVOY and many more. Annual package of around ₹300,000/-

Our college is well known for it's National Level Inter Collegiate Fests. We've Department wise fests. Each department will have a fest of its own. A student committe will be setup for each of the fests. The committee must frame the budget and the overall fest plans and submit it to the Central Administration. And then they shall approve ghee required budget accordingly. It's a 50:50 basis 50 from the college side and 50 in the form of Sponsors.

₹28,000/- for an Indian Student for B.COM. And the fee structure for NRI and Foreigners are different.

I guess this is the only college in the region which gives much importance to Extra Curricular and Co Curricular Activities. College actively supports the student initiatives.

Hostels are fine. The Best infrastructure, best facilities are provided to the hostelites. The only disappointing part is the good and it's the story of every Hostels.

Alumni Network is the best in our college. We've got SACAA which handles the Alumni Network.

Exams are normal. Practical of 2 hours and the theory papers of 3 hours.

The college has got the best faculty. They're very well knowledged and have got a great experience. But the traditional way of teaching is still there as they're in this institution since 30-40 years. At times there are clashes between the modern generation and the traditional mentalities. Because they never match.
