I like the infrastructure of the campus.
Campus placements are promissing for students who are talented,work hard and have good grades in their acadamics
Faculty are very friendly and teaching process is very advance

Dislikes

Although it has very good infrastructure they have limited branches (basavangudi and yalahanka)
They could make a separate university for management students

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose computer science(data science ) as my course since I love coding and I aim to become a data analyst. The faculty of this college are very promising at teaching and highly qualified from IIT and also done Mtech. They have adapted an advanced way of teaching by ppt presentations for better understanding and importance is given mainly to labs which are very essential to implement the subject into real life. We have 3 CIE(Continous Internal Test)conducted monthly in which the best 2 are taken then one-semester exam. They are neither too difficult nor too easy.

Class Size: 67Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Placement Experience

In the year 2022 Students of B.M.S. College of Engineering, Bangalore got direct campus placements in top companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Amazon, and more. The highest package is 50 LPA and the average is LPA LPA. there is an 80 to 90 % of placements. After getting a degree I would like to join a good teaching company for experience and start my own company.

Fees and Financial Aid

If students are from CET or through comedk the fee structures are decided by their respective councils but when the students approach here via management it varies from each course varying from 4-10 lakh. After joining the government scholarships are provided and after our 1st-year course based on our scores scholarships are provided which bene benefit further studies. Internships and placements opportunities are very good we get placements from top tech companies, startups, etc. And internships are amazing as we get within 1st 2 years (including nonpayment).

Campus Life

The annual fest is conducted in June every year and it is one of the biggest college fests in Bengaluru where we can meet celebrities and also we have thrill g DJ night. The classrooms are tidy we have a facility including a projector, wifi facility also we have computers included in the library. There are lots of clubs run by students (including both social and technical ) that are very active and get can get good opportunities to showcase our talent and share ideas for a better and sustainable society.

Admission

I got a seat through CET where the cut-off was 2500 ranking. My cet rank was 2000. but still, my selection for this college was done in the second round then I came to know abt the actual composition of this particular college. So I am glad that I got my desired course and college. The application process was done by Cet Counseling.

I great there is no ragging in our college
There is a discipline in our college and good atmosphere
there is good faculty in our college and nature is good

Dislikes

there is no specific sports for there course
vehicles parking is not good our the college

from 5 th semester there will be campus place ment is there There will many companies are visited , like Amazon, google, There is 60 lakh per annual but i didn't known which companies there will be 80 percent students are getting placement my plan is to make money and help the poor peoples There is beast placement in our college , there will be a internships and good here for Hailey package in this college

Good Infrastructure and Career Opportunities

Likes

Yes the first thing I liked is the campus and the environment there is no harrasment and strict action will be taken.
And second thing is faculty members are so helpful and they always help to students and different festival
And also the campus provide all facilities and make helps to sports and ration is almost equal of boys and girls

Dislikes

Yes some things are there which I disliked first is the campus is very strict and no function are organised yearly ones or twice is very sad thing as compared to other campus
Second thing is food students facing some problem with the food which hear prepared so outsiders facing lot of problems
Third is about hostel facility is good but very strict only once a week the students should go out side and write leave letter to go there native places.

Placement Experience:

Students got opportunity to eligible after 3rd year mainly in 7th semester students get opportunity for campus interview. In my college the company which came to hire is congizent and microsoft and amezon and dell nearly 80 to 90 company are came. The company offers is highest is 40 lack per annum which google provide and minimum is 4lack . Mainly 80 percent of the students are placed every year but due to war happened in the global impact in placement I want to do masters in abroad and then go to the company

Likes

very first thing i like in the college is the wifi network,
the library which is very peace and silent
average places to take photos and nearby there is nandi hills to visit

Dislikes

i dislike the distance of the college, its too large, should walk soo much
the cost of stationaries in the general store
i dont think so faculy are that much expertise , only countable people worth it

see i have choosed this course because it is very relatable to CSE, coz my ranking was not sufficient to get this course. the course which i took "Information Science and Engineering" is really a good course. they make us real world engineers. the area they shld actually improve is, hiring worthable faculty.

Likes

Campus is good and mainly located near Whitefield.
too good supportive professor. Staff are too chill. Some staff are like our bestfriend's.
Lab equipment are good . You are not facing any issue with pc.. it's good

Dislikes

There is only few events in a year. I think only 3 events.
Hostel building is too bad. And hostel food is too bad.
There is no field to play games like cricket, football.

Placement Experience:

After 8 sems we are eligible for placements. TCS ,Dell and many companies visited mvj. Highest package of mvj was 22lakhs per annum. Basically some companies ask CGPA at above 8. My plan is a developer after my engineering in python language or Else I will continue my dad business

Insights of the Gopalan college of engineering and Management by a First Year Student

Likes

Canteen is fine has nice and tasty food and quite a lot of options
Library is also good has every book related to my course and few others as well
Lab facilities are also very nice and the college has a nice crowd

Dislikes

It's nothing like I expected, they don't let students use the ground or turfs. Facilities are pretty bad.
They charge money for everything and has zero facilities for college students. Everything is for there school students.
College is very small and the faculties are rude to students. (Mostly the case)

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible for placements from there 7th semester but I wouldn't recommend relying on college for placements. Not many companies come to this college so placements are really bad. If u have skills it would be better to apply to companies on your own. I don't have details on how many students gets placed but as much as I know it's about 30-50 % And average package is also very low. I plan of gaining skills and certification on my own and job hunting myself in 4th year through my connections and internships. Or maybe go abroad for masters As I'm a first year student I don't know much about which companies come and how much they offer.

We have a temporary campus .which was taken as rent in goverment engeneering college raichur .and permanent campus was yet to finish by the time juniors come the permanent campus will be getting finished.just needed the proper campus no improvments
The campus life was not as expected by a student because here the cluns are not very active like in any other colleges , u can enjot a lot with your friends in your hostel.
Every branch has a faculty adviser we can meet them and discuss our problems with them .the faculry were very good they were well experienced ,they teach in general way as any teacher does on a digital board.

Dislikes

The placement cell is not that good , the students were not getting places for good amount of package as expected .
The labs were not well maintained that should be resolved that is the main problem in this college as well as library we have a very small library which is in a size of a regular class
Hostel was not within the campus which makes some difficulty to walk through the streets with roaming buses and cars and bikes , in our college boy girl ration was very less it is 1: 7 like that.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students are eligible for taking interships and they get placed in 7th semester and have to leave campus after 8th semester the highest would somewhere aroubd 20 lpa and avg would be 9 to 10 lpa . I plan to do Mtech in any reputed college by writing gate . The percentage of studebts getting placed are 70 %

Admission:

I had opted this course because I am interested in research field. the factors that made me choose institution aa it is best for playing courses which has the high infrastructure need for research. Steps college as a part of admission procedure are as follows to apply for CUCET examination after qualifying in that examination we will be called for counselling, in counselling they will prepare merit list according to the marks obtained in the future of examination and 12th marks according to that they will provide seat for us.

No comments on management except on decision taking, they take strict decision on attendance, discipline etc but we don't like tat. As though students are ment to break rules.
