Remarks

All together its a good college but the money isn't worth it. Too costly but if you want to get placed in TCS this college can surely provide that very easily.

Entrance Preview

I didn't write any entrance exam. A interview with principle was setup, just for 5 mins. which consist of just random questions related to computer science ( since i had already done diploma in CSE, he was checking knowledge). And about the choice of course - i had made my mind in my schooling days itself.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course is good but syllabus isn't, there are too many other department subjects and maths till 6th semester which makes course much harder. practical Learning is not much focused. No research initiative taken, not at all.

Internships Opportunities

No they didn't provide internship. Even if you get internship from some other company they will hardly let you take leave for it. cause for them getting marks in exam is much more imprtant.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement is good, comparing to other college's in chennai. I think some 80% got placed even students have 10 arrears too can get placed in some companies. TCS and L&T where the big companies. 2 lakhs would be the average package.

College Events

3

Every department have there own fests every year and its organised very nicely, one can expect nearly 2000 students from other college for every fest. yes college authorities do contribute for it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was Rs 75000, now its Rs 125000. So, its not at all affordable. It will include all charges ( book fee, placement fee, tuition fee and other fees). Probably highest college fee in chennai for engineering college. Though there are some concession if you have written entrance exam. And if you are not able to pay fee at the start of the semester they will allow you time till the start of the semester exam. And even after that you can get permission from principle for delay payment of college fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have no idea about any scholarship or loan provided by college. Neither i have heard anyone saying about it. But they will surely give bonafieds for getting loan.

Campus Life

3

very less facilities for extracurricular in our college, i did get opportunity but those are very rare.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes, i was hostel for 3 years. It will be share rooms, 3 or 4. Ac or Non Ac. now they are taking 120000 as hostel fee. Hostel food is ok, for some specific days it will be better.

Alumni/Alumna

No there is no concept of student alumni interaction.

Exam Structure

yes exams and labs are very frequent, that's the worst part of the college.

Faculty

3

Though faculty are very much qualified and experienced but they don't take much initiative from there side for creating interest. Not much interactive too. To say in detail, most of the faculty have no real interest in teaching.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
