The Campus Is Very Large. It Is Hard To Go From Hostel To Classes.
There Are So Many Student Studying Here, So Competition Is Very High.
We Have To Maintain Minimum 75 % Attendance.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course beacuse I like programming and having a good knowledge in technology. Faculty to student ratio is 1:70 for each class. Faculty regularly check progress of students. Most faculty are here Phd qualifiied or pursuing Phd. Their teaching method is good because they use smartboard and always answer query given by students.

Internships Opportunities

Companies providing internship are amazon, google , microsoft with average stipend of rs. 30000 per month. IOT and remote controller is recently project given by amazon on that it gave rs. 80000 per month.

Placement Experience

Student become eligible for placement from 5th semester. Many big companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Deloitte ,etc. comes regularly here. In 2022-2023 around 1000 companies visited here and around 4000 offered were made by company . Highest domestic package is Rs. 62 lac CTC. The student who are eligible for placements, in that 80% are placed. My plan after getting degree is to get placed in dream companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Actually fees structure is average what we get in engineering college that is rs. 120000. We can get scholarship upto 30% in Btech CSE. The fees remains same in all semesters. We can get on campus stipend upto Rs. 60000 per month.

Campus Life

Here life at campus is good. Annual fest is Freshmen induction, magnitude, etc. and many tech fest happen by microsoft, geek for geeks, techothon, etc. There is a central library with central air conditioned,wifi, discussion room that open upto 11 pm. The class room is very good, there is ac, wifi, smartboard, charging board. You can play any sports here like cricket , football, volleyball and you can do any ectra curriculum activity like dance, singing, theatre, etc. There are many clubs by students like Aashray, Misson, Spade, etc.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is upto the mark, we can get ac, fan ,cooler in our room . It depends on fees. Meal quality is good, you get every kind of Indian food here. We can register on Lpu UMS website and we can also get early decision benefit of Rs. 10000. Hostel fees is around Rs. 100000

Admission

Lovely Professional University Btech CSE admission process is upon LPUNEST. LPUNEST Scholarship 2023 current schedule last date is 31 july. Link for registration is www.lpu.in. Application fees is Rs. 1000/- Other option is on JEE Main if anybody got 90 percentile he would get direct admission. LPU also provides scholarship based on score.

Likes

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Dislikes

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

Inside NITJ- Beyond the Brochure

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements and tata or Infosys companies visited and about 60 to 70 percent students were placed and my plans after getting the degree is to opt for higher studies doing mtech from iit

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
