Course Curriculum Overview

The faculties for the course of the CSE program are very good, and there is no language barrier here between the staff and students. The boys-to-girls ratio is good in engineering courses. Most of the students here belong to the CSE course program.

Internships Opportunities

VMware, Amazon, Highradius, Lavelle network, Autodesk, Hindustan Unilever, Ericsson, Quikr, HP, Hcl and many more. Companies that offer full time with mandatory internship - Deloitte, PWC, KPMG, Optum, Novartis, Incture, Odessa, Accenture, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant, IBM and etc. If you get an internship in the 3rd year itself and if you are really enjoying working there, then you should definitely give it your all with 100%. Many people don't get full-time offers and by the time their internship ends, it will already be the end of the place

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure depends on the program and hostel you chose. Take 20-25L fixed investment if you plan to join Btech program. Further, all the necessary info is automatically provided to you at the right time through email. The scholarship is provided to the first 1000 ranks in the entrance and also to students who have good sports backgrounds.

Campus Life

The campus is big and widespread with a central Library which is available for the students. Extra curriculum activities are also performed on the campus such as sports events and other competitions. Students are also given the option to choose which society to join themselves.

Hostel Facilities

The room provided in the hostels is just like every other hostel room you can imagine. Meal quality is not great but manageable. Hostel affordability is great and process to register is also simple i.e. through the link provided by them in email at the right time.

Hostel Fee: INR 52000 per year

The application form is available on the college website with the prologue, it contains all the necessary information about the hostel, course, fee structure and campus detail. The syllabus for the entrance is also mentioned.

Likes

The environment of KIIT is best for student as their are students from all over India you learn many things other than just your course.
The college life for the students at KIIT is awesome as the architecture of the university is designed for students to explore every possible thing required by any student.
The fest of KIIT is just best the students enjoy those days the most.

Dislikes

As for me their are no flaws that I can say I dislike in KIIT.

Placement Experience:

The placement was quite good. The one who is disciplined and willing to get placed and surely get placed and the total average was around six LPA and the highest package was 53 LPA, which was offered by the atlassian

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Likes

Have collabs with IBM, Samsung, Capgemini for RnD and NUS singapore , University of North Texas
Our college has hosted International Conferences like IEEE InGAARS 2025and Indocrypt 2025, where scientists had came from NASA, ISRO, all IITs, Foreign Universities, etc
Exposure is Good. The teachers here put efforts to teach and research. Unlike other colleges where teachers comes and roll out PPTs, here every teacher teaches on Board explaining everything properly

Dislikes

Few teachers speak in Odia accent, so it takes couple weeks to adjust
Campus is kind of small (36acres), but its good area for a IIIT, considering IIIT delhi is just 25 acres
3 occupancy hostels for 1st years (same goes for any other NIT/IIIT), but they have a option of single rooms from 2nd year

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

Teaching style of faculty is excellent and related to practical based
Infrastructure of collage is just excellent and view is stunning
The playground facility is excellent and love to play different games

Lab facilities of this university is not good and ordered
Placement scenario is not fair and political affair is including

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

From 7th or 8th sem students are eligible for campus placements. The companies visited are wipro,tcs and many others like this. Percentage require for getting placement is average of 8.75 My plans after getting the degree is secret.

From sixth semester you are eligible for campus placement. Companies visited are Tata power, Adani, OPTCL and others.The highest package for electrical engineering is 10 lacs. 60percent marks is required for getting placement.

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

Things about kiit

You have to give kiitee exam the exam is tough but cutoff is low but there is no benefit of reservation. Exam fee is zero. I think cutoff should be increase be as there is lot of students but less than srm and vit. Hope you like this review...Read More
