College is a very good place and in this college you can get a quality education alongwith a vast experience in other extracurricular activities at a very nominal fee. It is a beautiful place and a very well connected also. My overall experience in the campus is great.

For B. Pharm admission you have to write WBJEE Exam. There is no requirement of Biology in senior secondary education to take an admission in this department in this college. No, there was not any interview process. Pharmacy is a growing field in India and Jadavpur University is one of the premier institute where it is being taught and that is the main reason why I had chosen this course.

Curriculum is very good, there is a focus on both types of learning i.e; theoretical and practical. There is a constant focus on the Practical learning. This institute is involved in various research initiative that are taking place around the globe. Elective that you had to choose is either Industrial Pharmacy or Newer Drugs.

College provided a official training from reputed companies. Experience can be termed as a information gathering process. Internship that the college offers does not give any stipend.

Placement scenario is good as many of the top companies visit the campus from the field of IT, Consultancy, Coaching and Pharmacy. 90% of the total students are generally placed and rest comprises mostly of the students who want to continue higher education and other general competition sector. Infosys, TCS, Oracle, CTS, Dr. Reddy, Cipla, Danone, Piramal, Akash, Pathfinder and many more. Average package varies year to year and also company to company.

Various types of Tech fest are organised in the campus and in which various other colleges also take part. Srijan is a tech fest which is widely renowned among various top colleges. College cultural fest, Sanskriti is a very big event in which high profile celebrities also come.U-turn is also a cultural fest known for its rich heritage. There are also departmental fest Sanjeevani, Pharmasmriti in my department. Various seminars and workshop are also staged in college in which various delegates across the globe take part.

Fee structure is very nominal. For a full 4-year course only a amount of ₹9600 is charged. There is exam fees as well which is around ₹70-₹80 and it is being charged at the time of semester exam.

College does provide scholarship to poor students from the Alumni fund. There are various types of scholarship opportunities that can be availed in the college.

In terms of extra curricular activities, college is also very good as it does provide a lot of facilities and opportunities to explore the talent. Our college also have very good cricket ground maintained by CAB in the other campus, and training facilities are very good. College have basketball, volleyball, football, cricket teams alongwith other sports teams.

No, I wasn't residing in hostel. Hostel rooms are spacious and they are of sharing type. They have two types one is two tier and other one is four tier. No, college didn't have own PGs but there are several around the campus and you can get them at a affordable price. Food in the hostel is very nutritious and the cost for the food in a month is around ₹1600-₹1700 and ₹25 for bed and electricity charge in the hostel. WiFi facility is free in the hostel 24*7.

A reunion is organised in which all the alumni associated with the department come and enjoy the event. College does provide a proper platform for student alumini interaction. There is a considerable role of the alumini in the overall development of the college as well as the students.

Exams are not very frequent, they take place around the same time when other institute are having or about to have their exams. Labs are generally every week feature of this department as Practical learning is also very much important in this sector. It can't be said that it was a chill culture after having so many labs throughout this course time.

Some of the faculty are of highest standards that can be found anywhere else. Rest of the faculty are also good and they are very interactive with the students. Almost all the faculty in this department are involved in some kind of research work that is taking place around the globe. Standard of Teaching is also very good which also shows in the results of the students getting very good GPAT rank.
