What Students Say

Likes

Lecturers, the way things are thought, importance given with respect to placement, placement training offered

Dislikes

Campus Life as there is no proper infrastructure
No fests been conducted no minimum entertainment

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose this course based on my personal interest in coding and there are more job opportunities as this is the main branch of engineering. All the faculties here are well qualified wherein some also have done their PhDs in their specific subject area. Exams are based on how we are well prepared for it with all the knowledge on every topic. The internals conducted by the college also plays a very good role in preparing for exams.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 98806 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There are many internships offered by the college itself from top companies like Wipro IBM uni-converge Infosys. There are very few internships that are stipend. Projects based on IoT power BI database management are encouraged.

Placement Experience

Students who are in the 6th sem without any backlog with a minimum cgpa of 7 and above are eligible for placement. The highest package as of now is 11lpa and the average package is 3lpa. Companies like Infosys Slk Wipro are been recruiting students from the college. Almost of about 90% of people are being placed by college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure as I was into this course through kcet I had to pay vtu fees of 58806. With an additional college fee of 36000. So approximately it takes around 1lpa to study in this college if ur placed through kcet. We get different scholarships based on the performance in 12th boards and there are many Scholarships for people from rural backgrounds nd also girls have a special scholarship of 50000 which is more helpful for studying. Our college right now is providing 100% placement with an average package of around 300000lpa.

Campus Life

There are a few departmental fests conducted once every two months but since I joined this college there is not even one annual fest that's been conducted. There are also no student welfare clubs formed. Life at the campus is so boring never expected my engineering life to be such a mess.

Admission

I got a seat through kcet which is common to get into any engineering college. U should maintain a good ranking below 20k to be specific in order to get into this college. We can find the application for the college on the college website and there are many reservations based on caste which can be beneficial to lower caste people and also for rural backgrounds.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

I could not secure admission in some colleges due to higher cut-off ranks and limited seats. The admission process of my college was simple and transparent, based on eligibility criteria, entrance exam scores, and document verification.
