Likes

Talk about university then it's very much relatable to Jadavpur University, so i love it.
I liked the infrastructure a lot and also the buildings are most welcoming to watch.
Campus life is much more as you expected. And also there will be much more important things you are going to learn.

Dislikes

I disliked that for the attendance here, you have to attend 60% of the regular classes.
Also I don't like the pond here, because inside the college are most worse.
Campus jobs are not here, because this is the most important things here.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because in the future so many opportunities in English literature that is why I chose this course. A brief about faculty members and students is quite friendly. Exams happened through so much participation.

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 2000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The amount that will be needed for this course is much less than you expect, is that only 10000 for 2 years. Talk about scholarships from this university you can apply for every scholarship you are eligible. And Financial assistance will also be there and also there will be so many teachers to help you with this.

Campus Life

Campus life will be so much smooth here. Amazing weather and you will, be enjoying all the jokes here. 1 laks plus books are available in our university library so no problem with that. A lot extra curricular activities are held at our university so not much problem with that, therefore you will be enjoying a lot more capabilities here.

Admission

The Eligibility criteria for admission in the Masters of Arts is Candidates must have scored minimum marks of 50% at the honors level in the concerned subject. For candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC-A, B categories minimum mark is 45% at the honors level in the relevant subject. Improvement happening throughout the course.

A Balanced and Enriching Academic Experience

Likes

classes, concept clearing process, teachers with friendly behaviour

Dislikes

nothing much. Everything was good overall. If only the college could guide a bit about the placement program then it could be better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is comprehensive and relevant covering literary theory, diverse texts and critical analysis. It prepares students for research and teaching. Exams are moderately challenging and well scheduled throughout the semester.

The Pros and Cons of Joining Jadavpur University Masters of Arts in Economics

Likes

Lush green and lovely campus, gives a perfect city vibes as well as greenery around
Huge social influence, and good knowledgable people around who are ready to discuss on any intellectual topics.
Expert faculty with proper emphasis on lecture quality, delivery, etc. Every faculty has a phD in their respective field.

Dislikes

Hectic lifestyle, there is a bit of pressure on syllabus completion
Exams conducted are a bit difficult with a higher frequency on conducting
Lack of Funding for campus development and deployment of proper infrastructure.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for applying for internships after the 3rd semester, and students can apply for placements only after 4th semester. Companies like Ericsson, Ernst and Young, JPMG makes visits our department for mostly analyst roles for economic and fundamental trading decisions. The highest offer made was 45LPA while the average is 7.5LPA. The median pakage is 8LPA. Almost 90% students secure placements after completing their degree since the Training and placement cell is pretty proactive in securing good company visits. I plan for investing and analyst roles in banking companies. I would sit for placements hoping for the same.

Likes

The behavior of the college staff is very good along with the teachers.
The campus is huge, along with a lot of amenities such as AC & smart classrooms, playgrounds, library, auditorium etc.
The college provides a great learning opportunity by internship opportunities at various companies.

Dislikes

There is a reason to worry as there are a lot of thieves around that area.
The nearby places of the college are not very safe, especially for women to travel at night.
The admissions criteria of this college are very tough. A student has to be highly qualified.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I had a keen interest in this subject. The faculty was very good, including the staff members and the academic teachers as well. The teachers were highly qualified and helped a lot in their studies. The exams were held timely under the supervision of the college staff members.

There were no campus placement. l have planned to be a teacher after completing this course. No company offers job in that campus. All the students have to struggle in their way for getting job.

Good College with Excellent teachers

Admission:

For pursuing Post graduation students never have to appear in any entrance examination. I passed my graduation from this college in the English department securing 65% of marks and hence choose this college for postgraduation as well.

Remarks:

The program of distance learning from University of Kalyani is the best Distance learning program at that I have ever come across. The distance program provides all of the facilities same as any regular program which makes it a wonderful option for all of the student who cannot afford to go to college regularly.

Remarks:

I am both positive and negative marks started with positive the factories where very good well well qualified there is no ragging the environment is eco friendly people very helpful there is no senior junior bond everyone is equal. The negative were enormous starting with the infrastructure in some places there are new buildings halls which are not even maintained and that's the biggest problem facilities are not given to student in the hostel so much carelessness is there in the routine work people are very lazy to do their working time authority is very slow to do their workrecreational activities other than academics are very less a student didn't get the time for recreational and facilities were also not there I come modern infrastructure universities should be so we have to change this things to do the university prosper in the later year in the first and foremost thing is determination a that everyone should give efforts to make our university Pride and worthful.
