Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course out of keen interest. The faculty-student ratio I think is medium and the faculty are helpful. Regarding the teaching methods, smart boards are used in maximum classes with the faculty explaining the topic in detail. There were 2 term exams in a term. One in the middle of the semester (mostly mcq based) and the final term exam (mcq+theory based).

Internships Opportunities

I am still beginning my 5th semester so I have not yet bagged any internship but we have a lot of placement classes going on to inculcate various skills like speaking, aptitude, grammar, and communication.

Placement Experience

After the fifth semester, students become eligible for campus placements. More than five hundred companies visit this campus with pretty decent offers however mass hiring occurs here mostly. 35-40 LPA highest and 3.5-5 LPA average package as per company and profiles offered. The exact percentage is unknown to me but more than 90% of peeps get placed out of those who registered for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are a lot of scholarships given based on your class 10 or 12 marks, marks in lpunest, sports, a cultural, extracurricular event, you have participated in your school time, and family income. There are a lot of part-time jobs available as well on the campus if you want to earn your own pocket money.

Campus Life

The library is fully loaded with books and journals. We even have an e-library which is operational till midnight. Annual fests like Freshmen Induction for freshers, one world for creating unity, and various concerts of famous singers and Bollywood stars. A lot of student clubs and social groups are run covering all the hobbies and activities you can think of.

Hostel Facilities

We get our separate washrooms for each room, our own study table, an almirah for each person,ac or cooler based on your choice, a balcony, a geezer, and elevators in hostels in case your room is on the upper floors. I guess in any college you go most people hate messy food. Registration and room booking process is very easy.

Hostel Fee: INR 105000 per year

Admission

All the admission-related details can be accessed from the official site. The staff is really helpful in case you have any queries. They are available for you whenever you call and try to address all your concerns. You need to give the entrance test name LPUNEST to get admission but it is of medium level and can be cracked. It is a pretty smooth process for taking admissions.

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

Likes

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.

Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
