Remarks

The colleges encourages the students in taking up research initiatives by providing scholarships. The college environment is also very ecofriendly . The institute completely stands against for ragging and women teasing. This is a best place to feel secured for girls because they are not allowed outside without the parents permission. My experience towards academics and workshops not so good because my friends in other colleges have more facilities than what we have but as a student personally i improved a lot.

Entrance Preview

I got admission in this college via management quota. In my inter i secured 97 percentage and the management taking into consideration those marks gave me scholarship and made my fees only 95,000 per year. The students also get admissions through anna university counselling. The cut off marks include 179 for 200 . There is no specific entrance exam conducted by our institute. The course which i chose is preferred by many students. I and my friend both of decided and chose this course.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course which I chose is related to electronics and it is the most rugged course . So in the first year i faced a lot of problems to get involved in the course and later i myself made up my mind and tardily got adapted. The practical learning is simultaneously concentrated along with the theory classes but the course is mostly theoretical rather than practical. The present on going researches from department are on artificial intelligence and health monitoring systems.

Internships Opportunities

No the college does not provide any internship programs . The students should show their own interest in attending internships during holidays in some reputed companies. Some of the staff provide the details about the internships. The stipend provided will entirely depend on companies which the students opted and students skills. Some of the companies even charge the students in taking up the internship.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placements in are institute are average . Only few students get placed in the top companies and the placed student percentage is also low and is about only 60 percent. Many of the students here end up with their engineering degree and choose business streams as their career option. The other students will prepare for GATE, GRE, TOFFEL and go abroad for higher studies. So finally only few students attempt the interview and get placed. the average package provided is also just 3,00,000 per annum. The companies that visit every year are IBM,CTS,HCL etc.,

Fee Structure And Facilities

As i already mentioned in consideration of my percentage in inter which is 97 percent the management provided me with scholarship facilities and i paid just 95,000/- . I think the amount is quite affordable because many other colleges collect in Lakhs and compared to those colleges this fees is quite affordable . The students got admission through anna university counselling are even given scholarship for the good mark scorers. the other students who secured low marks have to pay 1,25,000 and even this is affordable.

Faculty

4

Many of our faculties are possessing Ph.D in their own research field and many are working for it in different top universities . The staff here are even well experienced and highly qualified in imparting knowledge into the students brains. They clear the doubts and help a lot during practicals . They play a major role during the times of placement guiding the students , clearing their doubts and posing confidence.
