Course Curriculum Overview

4

I am interested in using computers and doing some small programs. So I wanted to study CSE in engineering. Though I tried for JEE, I couldn't get a seat so I had to choose Anna University in TNEA where I applied for backup.

Internships Opportunities

4

There are many internship opportunities available in college during 5th sem. Visa-75000 per month, Amazon -40000 pee month, BNY Melon-75000 pee month, Samsung-50000 per month, Standard Chartered, Chronus and many more.

Placement Experience

3.5

You will start getting internships from the 5th semester and you will get placements from the 7th semester. Many companies arrive for placements and interns including Amazon, DE Shaw and sometimes GOOGLE I heard that the maximum package till now offered by DE Shaw is around 35 lakhs. I don't know about Google.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is normally 20000 under Self Support. If you are high in the cutoff, you might get a concession of 5000 and also if u are a first-time graduate you will get a diacount of 5000. So the minimum fee will be 10000 and the maximum will be 20000.

Campus Life

5

There are many feats in the college main being Kurukshetra, an international technofest one of the biggest in India, and the other being Techofes. Kurukshetra mainly focuses on new technologies, robots, and some events whereas techofes are primarily meant for enjoyment like guest lectures, and awards by actors and DJs.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel fees are affordable and valuable at the price point. Hostel fees is about 40000 per semester and the room will be shared for 4 people for 3 years and in the 4th year you will get a separate room. Mess food is kind of good at most times.

Admission

Have to register in TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission). Do check out the TNEA website for details. The whole admission process is online. There are about 4 sub colleges under Anna University which includes College of Engineering Guindy, Madras Institute of Technology, ACTECH, and SAP.

Other Applied Colleges

SSN College of Engineering has a strong placement record, which is one of its biggest draws for students. Here’s a detailed overview of SSN’s placement statistics, key recruiting companies, support for employability, and pathways for students after graduation. Placement Highlights 1.
