LPU unveiled: my first hand experience

ofcourse i choose cse because it has better placement options.the faculties of lpu are well qualified and educated. they would help you with your subjects. the faculty ration here is 40:1 which is quite good according to me. most of them are highly experienced in field of teaching, few of them also hold doctarate degrees. the way of teaching of every teache is different , depends of the class also , that how intractive the class is. ofcourse a smart board is been used for better teaching. i would say exams are not tough here you can achieve a good percentage(70%) by just listening in classes sometimes and studying one day before the exams. 75% of attendance is compulsory for sitting in the term exams. more the attendance the more marks you'll get

the fees of lpu is ofcourse more than other colleges. the hostel fees too here is more than normal i mean 1 lakh just for a normal ac room. and then the consert happing here or the celebs attending the college you would have to pay a certain amount of money to attend that concert. food of hostel here is not too bad but yes being a student you can't stop yourself to go out and have food in resturants which are in college campus itself, it require money.

fest in lpu are frequent, such as one india one world is an annual fest of lpu takes place manily in march and the there is some kind of nukkad nataka, youth vibe. tech mahindra smart academy for digital media annual fest is a tech fest of lpu teachs you intresting things. books and journals are easily available in library like whatever you want. either of your reapective subject or books for your liesure time you can get them issued easily just by having a library card. classrooms are well furnised, always neat and clean, desks and chair are smooth and cofortable. the view of board or screen on which teacher teaches is clear from the back also provided you are not that short in hieght. as we all know sports of lpu are very professional. i personally am not a sport person but other students who participate get proper guidance, proper availability of equipments and chances to play inter college, state level even national level if you are so good. there are many social groups and clubs

i opted for the hostel in campus itself as i was new in the city didn't knew that much. so yes hostel facility of lpu is much much more good than other colleges i have visited i mean rooms are spacious, well furnused ac- non ac depends on whta you choose. the buildings of hostels are well cleaned. wardens are active here 24/7. but yes you would have to take a long walk for your classes from the hostel. meal also provided here is much more better than other colleges. it is cooked propely, neatly yet it would not give you ghar vali vibe. it has bith veg and non veg option and option for standard and non standard food also. in standard one you can get more Chappatis and a desert for extra. registration process is easy not much to do but its not affordable for a middle class family.

if you have science background in your 12th have passing marks in all subject you are eligible. you can find application form and application dates and application fees from the college website itself. i personally was following many youtube channels for the updates. being a private college admission process is not that hectic it's easy. you have to jus fill application form and give the entrance exam, i gave it online with my web cam and microphone open. the improvement as such is not required, where ever i was stuck i jus called to helping desk of lpu and they helped with the same
