What Students Say
Likes
- Campus, Robo park, Uni Mall, Food courts.
- The Uni Mall has everything needed, you can even shop there.
- There are pools for swimming, gym, indoor stadium, outdoor playgrounds, etc.
Dislikes
- The maintenance is sometimes crappy, things don't get fixed fast.
- There are too many restrictions, and the security is very tight.
- No non-veg food items are allowed in the campus and day scholars can't stay in the college after 7.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is as per the UGC, there are many vocational courses too, the labs are well equipped, the faculties are mostly Ph.D. holders with long-term experience in teaching, they provide various additional courses as well upon paying further application fees, the course I chose is a specialized course in DS and ML in tie-up with UpGrad.
Internships Opportunities
I haven't gotten so far as my internship but my seniors have said they got a somewhat good internship opportunity with the highest stipend being 1.64 lacs, there are always internship opportunities available for 3rd and 4th-year students, the average stipend is 20-30k that's it.
Placement Experience
I feel the campus placements are pretty good considering the number of students in the college, especially if you are in the top 10% of students you get placed at over 15-25 LPA, almost 90% of students get placed, 500 companies visit each year and the highest campus placement so far was 64 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarship is provided appropriately up to 50% based on your 10th marks or 12th marks LPUNEST marks or JEE Mains percentile. They provide assistance for loans with banks that they have contact with. There are campus part-time job opportunities as well but it's pretty hard to get those.
Campus Life
There are many events that happen in a year, One World, etc. Etc. And many actors, movie stars also come to campus, and there are concerts on campus as well as even fairs sometimes. There are lots of books available in the library more than enough. The classrooms are mostly well equipped with smart boards, projectors, AC and fans, and many charging ports, one for each student. There are lots of clubs as well, there is even a uni mall, shops, food courts, and many many many more things.
Admission
You should have 55% marks in 12th, just search for Lpunest, the exam was harder than CBSE, it was proctored and there were scholarship benefits as well up to 50%, I availed 30% scholarship and if you have 90% in jee mains you get 50% scholarship.
