Course Curriculum Overview
I chose to be a physical therapist cause I wanted to serve people in the medical profession. The faculty here are really nice, have good communication skills, have practice knowledge and guide well, the ratio of student to teacher is about 35:1. Faculty in the physiotherapy department range from assistant professors to professors and most of them are experts in their field. There are 2 exams conducted per semester. One mid-term and then end-term examination. The difficulty of the exam depends on the quality of preparation u did. Although according to my experience exams might vary from mild to difficult.
Fees and Financial Aid
My course cost around 7 lac+. Registration was of 50 thousand. You get a scholarship in 1st year on the basis of your board result (I got a 20% scholarship) Then further years you get a scholarship on the basis of your performance, and your grades. There was no job on campus, you needed to complete your internship at Sharda Hospital that too without getting paid
Campus Life
Campus life is lively and most importantly toxic-free. An annual fest-like chorus is held in the month of March/April. Several DJ nights are held in September, December etc. Celebrities are often called to perform. There are many libraries on campus filled with books on our course. Class is well defined with sitting arrangement, fans, lights, ac, projector, board etc. Many sports activities are held like catalyst etc. There are many clubs available like environment club, dance club, cultural club, fine art club, photography club, gaming club etc
Hostel Facilities
You get a bed, ac/non-ac, study table, fan, 2 light, balcony, bathroom You can get registered for the hostel either online or offline, the faculty in the admission cell will guide u complete on this. In the third year I a pg from Ez stays. Which is quite good with their travelling facilities and lunch box facility
Admission
The admission process was simple, without any complications. When I applied for Sharda University, I got admission on the basis of my 10th board result ( cause the 12th mark sheet has not been released yet). No entrance exam was conducted. It's very easy to get admission to a Bpt course.
