My experience and my remark about this college is good. I enjoyed a lot in this college. Everything is happen to be good and placement is very best thing.

Entrance Preview

I have done BCA in 2012 and got admitted in MCA by giving one entrance exam CET. My score is good thats why i got admission in Shivaji University. No interview process.

Course Curriculum Overview

Master of Computer Applications is very good course for those students who like computers and programming. It has various job opportunities in IT fields.Our colleges focussed more on practicals.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, college is having very good collaboration with many industries like Internshala, etc. So, college provides good internships through this.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement is the main thing after completing education. Our college did this very well. KPIT, Infobeans, Zensar visited. I got placement in KPIT with 3.5 LPA package.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is quite high. As it is affordable for some students abd it was not affordable for sone students. Fee was Rs. 70,000/- and it was good. Collage also gives installment option to pay this.

Faculty

Faculty of Shivaji University is ever best. All are highly qualified and also having some industrial experiences. Teaching was best. Lectures of theirs were very interesting.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are available for students generally during the final year of the MCA program. The college provides sessions for resume making, mock interviews and soft skills. The placement opportunities and packages vary each year depending on the companies visiting the campus and students performance. After completing my MCA, I plan to build and apply my technical skills by securing a job in the IT sector.

Likes

Strong support from faculty, whenever students asks faculty for help they always supports.
Up to date curriculum, syllabus of the college is up to date with current trends in the industry
Environment in the campus, more oxygen level as compare other colleges

Dislikes

Food quality in the specified canteen, canteen food sometimes feels very disgusting.
No options for without onion garlic food.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from sencond semester it self. Per Students 30 companies are offered by the college. The highest package from last year is 12LPA and average package is 5LPA. Interships are also provided by the college.

Excellent College

Placement Experience:

from the 2nd semester itself, the students are eligible for campus placements. companies like Capgemini, wurth-it, Godrej,Infosys, TCS, and Sankey visit very often and make a good no. of offers. the average package is around 4-5Lpa for freshers. about 80-90% of students get placed. I plan to work and learn after getting the degree.

A Good College To Join

Remarks:

The college gives you exposure to many subjects which is very useful and trains students with real-life case studies. The college has a good number of visiting faculty who is expert in their respective subject and the faculty who are working in big companies adds a lot of value, as they share their experiences from the corporate world.

I took B-CAT Entrance Examination to take Admission in this College.Entrance Test is of 200 Marks with General Aptitude, Maths, English and General Knowledge. I Scored 144 Marks. There is centralized Merit wise admission process held in Pune.
