LPU is relatively virtuous university more than I expected

In LPU, facilities are quite impressive here like the sports grounds are very well maintained here. The fee structure is very nominal here and yes we do have some great student chapters and societies working in the college that makes the campus life good here and lead us to learn a few qualities along with it.

I've taken many national wide exams like mains, advanced. But the reservation stuff made me stay back even with good average. But I found LPU as the greatest opportunity for me to explore the depth of any course. LPU is always with plenty of opportunities to develop oneself.

Courses are relatively impressive and we have some project-based subjects which make the programme interesting and a lot of fun as well. Every semester we have some tasks based courses along with the normal courses and this help maintain our motivation in the studies overall. So overall I can say is we have quite a maintained and impressive course curriculum.

Yes, our college provides us internships and we do have an internship semester for every course. Many companies do visit us and other research-based internships are also availed by many students here.

Job placements and opportunities are pretty imposing for all branches and have a great placement. In all branch the placement ratio is quite good compared to other private colleges in India big companies & other multinational & national companies come for the campus placements. The average package is 3.5–7 Lpa.

We have a lot of events organized in the college like Coke Studio Live Music Concert and the sports fests every year along with many mini competitions in respective sports and other cultural things. At our annual college fest and some others like the Youth Vibe, Young Verto Conclave festival are some of the other major fests here. We have a team named that helps newcomers settle in the college by entertaining them and indulging them in events during the first month of new freshers.

The fee structure is a very nominal here and even though the hostel facilities are totally up to the mark the hostel fees is also a nominal which makes it a quite feasible for the students here. Comparing to the other colleges in India yes I can say LPU is one of the best college.

Here we have some good scholarships based on the marks scored on JEE mains and board percentage combined and also some scholarships provided by the alumni of the college for financially backward students.

I must say, campus life is superb and very excited and the gender ratio is quite good here I guess around 65:35 or if not then 60:40 least in some branches that could also be 50: 50. We have a lot of college fests and events over the year which makes the campus life quite good and interesting

The hostel facilities are great here and have a comparatively superb management from the hostel representative .The food in our hostel is really superb out there people might be thinking that this could not be possible because usually colleges don't have a good food quality in hostels but here it is quite good and the taste is well maintained.

We have a society here that manages the alumni record here and had some of the notable alumni’s like UTKARSH GAUTAM - Wireless Systems Engineer, NEHA MAHAJAN - System Programmer and many more.

The exam structure is a two-phase exam divided as mid semester and end semester along with the quizzes and projects provided for the respective courses in the respective branches. The marks breakup is different for different courses but overall we have projects quizzes and mid-semester end-semester for the whole course breakup.

LPU offers the B.Tech courses with a wide variety of specializations. The engineering degrees include B.Tech., B.Tech. (H), Integrated B.Tech-M.Tech. As well as Integrated B.Tech & M.B.A. courses with a number of specialization subjects. Admission to all these courses are through LPUNEST conducted by the University. LPUNEST will provide a gateway to all engineering programmes in LPU and will act as an Entrance test for admission in Engineering Programmes at LPU. Candidates with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent (with Physics, Mathematics and English) are eligible for appearing in LPUNEST.

All the faculties are easily assessable and very supportive in considering our doubts as well as thoughts for different projects we do apart from the programme. For different projects, we are having around the semester and other projects we have preferred faculties to approach for any help thus are valuable time is saved.
