An outlook to LPU

So, I am a Btech Student, I will tell you according to it. The curriculum is very good they help to clear all the basics in the first year and then in 2nd year you have to develop these skills which you have learnt in the first years. help the student to improve their skills. Faculties are efficient, highly qualified, and highly trained and they have completed their degree from renowned institutes. Some of them have written books for engineering students. The faculty are friendly and help the student to clear their doubts and other problems. I love one thing they have allocated a mentor to each and every student so the students can go to them and talk to them. but there are some flaws also

They allowed internships only for student 3rd year and final-year students, during internship you do not need to worry about exams and attendance. You will get marks according to your report which comes from where you worked but in some cases, they will take your viva exam. And you also have to do some projects in that time period. You can get more detailed information from your teachers and HOD's. Many companies offer internships here like Amazon, Infosys, google(gsoc), and many other renowned companies. You will get a stipend.

Placement in my University is good. I am from Btech so I will tell you according to it that the average package of this year if 6lpa and the highest package(till date) of this year is 32lpa and many students have their startups here they are earning a huge amount around 4-6lpa/month. T

I can say it is quite expensive but after getting a scholarship the fees will decrease. Every year before starting of class you have to submit the fees then you will be alloted your section and other things. If you coming on the basis of a Loan then their bank employees are also there you can talk to them they will help you get a loan. In the summer term, you can join a job on campus only. if you are in a year then you can go for an internship, then the university will give you marks according to your report which will come from the place you have worked. And there are many benefits.

The campus is really awesome and big you will get all the facilities here. There are many events which happen every week and FEST happens every month some of them are Car fest, food fest, anime fest, FUN Fest, many DJ nights and Drift Shows will be their and Many awesome event happen here on 5th November Parmish Verma is coming here for a show. The library is of 5 floors you will all kinds of books here and 24x7 wifi is available on the whole campus. If you are good at sports you can join university teams or you are good at other activities also they all will give you benefits. There are many clubs in the University you can join some of them are Coding Blocks, DSO, SOC, NCC and NSS is also there.

The hostel and apartment are there, The Room is for 4 people if you want for single room only for this will cost you a good amount of money. To register for the hostel you can visit lpu.in there you have a login'd you will be able to join the hostel after initial payment. the hostel is affordable for 4 people in one room. The food is good but after 3-4 months you will feel what a boring food, this happens with all people here. There are many canteens and shops on campus you will never sleep hungry. I will not suggest you rent a room or PG outside uni because in the first year, you don't know many things and you will not connect with the right people there. So, please stay inside the campus but if you want to live outside the campus then you can live in Phagwara or in Jalandhar, I will not suggest you live in the Lawgate area. You can live in that area which I have recommended you here. If you are a girl child then please stay inside campus at least for the first year. All hostels have wardens they are very good and friendly.

The addmission process is very simple you have to go on a website and you have to fill out the admission form (most of the time which was open for 2months only). Then you will receive an email or call from the college they will ask you some simple things and tell you to take the LPUNest Exam which is basically a scholarship exam or an eligibility exam to check students. If you get good marks in this they will offer you a scholarship according to your marks. this exam is completely online but it is a procted exam(you can not switch tabs, there will be AI which will be monitoring you and there will be a third eye also) Your 12th class marks also matter here. After you have uploaded your documents they will be verified by the university along with that you have to submit fees (I recommend you to call them and submit the fees, there is no other person in between for admission. It will be between you and the university) then you will get the admission. No reservation is there. The process is a bit longer
