Swimming poll , sports complex, wifi, greenry

Dislikes

Faculty, exams, internal assessments ,
Internal exam, they put pressure a lot..
Many extra work load , sometime extra classes

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose it because passionate about becoming an IT engineer. There are more than 35000 students in all departments. 72 students in each section. The main faculties are Ph.D. and MTech in CSE. Exams are 3 internal,1 mid-term, 1 end term per semester. Exams are moderate level but during exams, the university is very strict.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 240000 per year

Placement Experience

After 5th semester you can sit for placement. Big companies come in top mnc amazon receives 5 to 10 students each year. The average package for cse is 12 lakhs. The lowest package can be 2.5 lakh and the highest by Amazon is 54 lakhs. Students' percentage of placement is average due to the large number of students. My plan is to take a placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

In btech cse you cost 120000 per semester. After giving the lpunest exam you can avail of upto 50 percent scholarship per semester. Hostel prices are like 3 seater ac is 95000. Mess charges are 40000 Mess and hostel are annual charges You can give lpunest. Scholarship provided with jee and boards marks also.

Campus Life

4.5

Life is lpu is one of the best parts because you will get everything to enjoy. Here almost daily a new function is organized and celebrities come. There is 14 library and you can issue book at any time. Class room are not good that much. This university is best in sports all over india In olympic 2020 11 players got medel from this university only Neraj chopra , bajrang punia nad 7 indian hockeu players and many more. There are many groups in campus to organise different events

Hostel Facilities

In the room, you will get a bed study table Almirah, geyser, ac. Meals are good, mainly they give paratha in the morning. The hostel is affordable like 5 seaters non-ac is 55000. Locally there are more than 1,000 of pg and in Jalandhar City there are a lot of pg.

Hostel Fee: INR 90000 per year

Admission

We need to fill form of lpunest, which is an online exam from home. You will get a maximum of 50 percent scholarship after getting the required marks. The exam level is less than JEE. The pattern of the exam is mcq. You will get the form online at lpu website. There is no reservation.

The campus is beautiful, spacious, and offers good infrastructure with modern facilities.
The university provides good exposure to technical courses, eventrs , clubs, and extracurricular activities.
The campus has good labs, a library, and facilities that support students academic development.

The fees are high and losing a scholarship due to cgpa requirements can create a significant financial burden.
More personalized mentorship and regular career guidance sessions would help student prepare for their future carees.
more internship opportunities would further improve students professional growth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the CSE curriculum covers relevant subjects and provides a good foundation programming and computer science. It prepares students for futher studies and careers, through more industry-based projects and practical learning would be bemigficial. Exams include MSTs and ESTs, with a manageable difficulty level through regi;ar preparation.

college life of Chandigarh university is so good, all the events do happen .
teachers are so experienced and they are so supportive in here.
the placements in this university are great, all the big tech companies do visit while placements and provide jobs to the deserved students.

Dislikes

All the online courses should be reduced.
nothing is there in the university that is to dislike.
majority of the things are all good in our university.

Placement Experience:

The placemnets in the university starts from the 3 year only. companies comes in the 3rd year, students= can give interviews in this year, and they can get the NOC. wich means you can go for the job or the iinternship and there is no need to take the classes, because you are taking the indyustry level experience in the prior basis also.

campus life is absolutely banger and it is great to have friends here
crowd is bonkers , except some local peeps , they'd be behaving weird
major events like freshers and orientation , they bring crazzy artists

Dislikes

hectic schedules drain the soul of you .
frequent exams test that are totally unnecesary
attendance is another nuisance , having 75 percent is must

Placement Experience:

placements of 2.8 cr occured but it was only one , most of the placements packages go under 8 lpa and extra fees has to be paid in order to be eligible for placement drives and that too doen't ensure the placement

A TOUR TO CGC LANDRAN

Likes

Events are more frequent here and most of the stars from punjabi industry are called more often for film promotions
No ragging is there infact seniors are friendly and try to help juniors
TPP (training and placement program) is provided that help students to crack placements

Dislikes

Attendance criteria (minimum 75 % is essential to maintain to be eligible to give exams)
Class timings are fixed from 9:15 to 4:35 and you can not enter in between 10 to 12:00 PM as gates are closed for this duration
Strength is rapidly increasing as new courses are introduced which increases competition during placements

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent, from 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement students need to enroll in TPP(Training and placement program) in order to get eligible for campus placement, Many companies visit our campus for eg Capgemini, LNT, ZSCALER, EDIFECS, AMAZON, PWC, WATCHGUARD TECHNOLOGIES etc overall above 200 offerrs are made to our senior batch with the highest package of 32LPA and average package of around 4.5LPA. more than 60% of students get placed . I am also sitting for campus placement and wish to get placed soon

College Life is Fun, Various activities and events happen in and around college, you got to know about others and crowd is also decent, Mostly Students are from northern regions that is Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand .
Teachers are good and placement coordinators also help students to get good package on campus. a decent package can be bagged by a student if he/she seriously study and obtain a decent CGPA in exam. Make sure you clear all exams till 8th semester.
Infrastructure Is also good, laboratories are fitted with new desktops and campus size is also decent, Tuck shops and various Canteens are available inside the campus. Also Central Library is there inside the campus where students can study in exam t

Dislikes

The curriculum for 1st and 2nd semester is purely based on subjects that you studied in 11th and 12th, the advance versions of those topics are there in 1st and 2nd semester which make it difficult for students to get good grades.
The placement in other branches like Mechanical, electrical is mere, and one can face difficult in getting on campus placement if he/she belongs to these streams. Also Lack of practical knowledge is there in these streams, Theory is more focused.
If one opt for hostels, then the hostel facilities are not as good as it should be , the mess food is pathetic and one can face difficulty if he/she opt for hostel, also campartively hostel fees are also very high, whereas nearby Pg's are cheaper

Placement Experience:

placement is good in our college. Aveage package is 400000, and average package for cse stream is approx 500000. Various companies like alstom, infosys, accenture, TCS, Wipro, amazon, Walmart, JP Morgan chase and co. etc visit campus every year and recruit students. Approx 300+ companies visit campus and above 80% of cse students are placed but In other streams like ECE.EE and ME etc placements are campartively lower and students face difficulty in order to get placed. MY plan is job oriented i also want to get placed on campus and hope so i will get placed in a good company.
