I like environment and bus facilities in KEC
Culturals and also some events like Swaram are awesome
In sports Kongu trophy is the event conducted by our college is for all other college sports man

Dislikes

Food is only veg , but i want non veg so this the thing i disliked
college time was so length , that want to reduce
lunch time was very less , so it cant eat

Course Curriculum Overview

course curriculum is very good and faculty is very talented and the total faculty strength is 530. Also, there are non-technical staff and lab assistants. so there will be a comfort zone to study and learn new things.

Placement Experience

Placements are good in our college, placements start from the 3rd-year 6th sem, more placement tests are conducted and placement training will be conducted at the end of the 5th semester. average salary package is 4.5 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for one year is 125000 for management quota students and for counseling students 75000 and for both students, hostel fees are 80000. scholarship is given for counseling students. Maybe they get 7000.

Campus Life

There are many clubs associations and societies in Kongu Engineering College, the campus is very green and we have a pleasant air and a perfect environment to study and develop our knowledge. library is available.

Admission

For management quota, there will be only submitting original certificates and paying half cash and putting an admission. For counseling students, there will be redemption and fees and admit it. For sports quota students all are free except for exam fees.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

The faculty were very much friendly and very knowledgeable in practical teaching
The Lab facilities is very good for the students to improve the coding knowledge.
The time they are providing to study for exams is nice

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspect which is great future on IT Field of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course. The curriculum prepared me to solve tough real-world logical aptitude test and coding test. The course curriculum is only based on the theory in several areas.My suggestion is to improve that too in practical manner for better real-world understanding. The frequency and the timing of my exams along with my perspective on the difficulty level is 2hrs.
