Course Curriculum Overview
The Course in 1st year is pretty much common in all engineering colleges and life is very chill. Attendance is considered mandatory but it's quite flexible and it is not that strict. The faculty teaching have high education and they are helpful and solve our doubts. The student ratio is good in our college.
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester, companies come for internships and students get placed on campus depending on their skills. Nearly 300+ companies visited for placement in 4th year. The highest package of 1.62 cr was bagged by a student in the 2022 year. Due to the recession, our placement fell from 97% to 59% but this number will increase again back. Package in branch is 12 Lpa whereas someone pursuing a Bachelor's in Technology with Specialisation in Computer science has an average package of 23 Lpa. I plan to do an MBA after my Bachelor's in Technology.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees in the first year are 2lakh 20 thousand and then it increases by 10K each year this is all tution fees. There are a lot of scholarships provided to the less fortunate ones and they can afford the education too. Approximate cost of hostel and mess is 85K per year.
Campus Life
Engifest is our annual fest plus there is another one named Yuvaan which is held annually in DTU. A lot of small fests and events are also organized in the college throughout the year. A tech enthusiast can have a good time going through our tech fest. Fests are conducted in the month of February and are the second largest fest in Delhi next to IITD. Each and every book that we require for our curriculum is there in the library and a lot of other books for those who want to go beyond the syllabus are also there in the Library. The classroom has AC and projector with good seats and well lighted. We also have a sports tournament in Intercollege and Intercollege. We have a football field, cricket field, basketball court, indoor badminton and table tennis court, lawn tennis court, volleyball court, gym. A number of societies are run by students and we have clubs/societies on each and every interest a student can have.
Admission
We get admitted to this college by our JEE mains rank. Then next we apply to JAC counseling in which we apply to our selected branch and college. The result of the seats declared was off time which should be considered.
