Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I heard that lpu gives many opportunities to students who want to do something in their life. when we talk about the faculty members it's also so good they all are qualified and after they teach the students they all have first cleared the P.G. exam and after some training, they start teaching students at this university. and they all have different techniques to teach students especially they focus more on the weaker student and they are teaching in the class by taking feedback from the students.

Placement Experience

As I have heard when you enter the 3rd year of your course then you will be able to sit in placement. there are many companies like GOOGLE, AMAZONE, TCS, etc including 500 mre companies which visit every year to our university to hire students. I have heard that one student named Mohammed Yasir got approximately a 3 crore package from this university I dont know if it is true or false. I think a company that offered him this much amount was Zoom. according to me, 30 percent of students are only getting placed in every batch. my plans after my degree to get a job in any company that will offer me at least the desired salary.

Fees and Financial Aid

Usually, the fee for b.tech is 1 lakh and 20 thousand and if you are applying by LPU-NEST exam or through JEE MAINS exam then according to your marks you will get a scholarship if you have got more than 90 percent marks in this exam then you will be able to get 50 percent scholarship in your fee which is 1 lakh and 20 thousand. I have not applied for any scholarship form yet so dont don't have any idea about it.

Campus Life

life inside the campus is like a dream place for everyone I think because the lpu campus is about 800 acres. and inside campus many festivals happens there are 2 auditorium where it happens first one is shanti devi Mittal auditorium and another is Mittal auditorium. the library is good in the library you will get all the books of each department in our library. I dont have any idea about amenities and if we are talking about extra curricular activities then it is very good for those students who focus more on extracurricular activities on campus. I know one insta ID named LPUCONFESSION which is run by LPU students you may ask them query related to college.

Admission

I think the admission process is easy but to get good marks in exams is not easy it is quite difficult to score more than eighty percent marks. and I have taken admission through the exam and in this exam, I got more than ninety percent marks. I found all the details about admission like application forms, fees, and application dates from advertisements on YouTube as well as from Google. I dont have any idea about reservation benefits. and it's good in all formats I dont want any improvement in the admission process. This one is good and challenging for all students.

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

Inside NITJ- Beyond the Brochure

Likes

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
