Remarks

took admission through VITEEE exam . All the details of the exam such as syllabus , exam schedule , dates are available on their website . The minimum critieria for pcm is 60% in boards of 12th pcm and similar for pcb if going for health informatics or biotech

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Took this course because of my interest in cs . The faculties are PHD holders having minimum of 3 yr experience which keeps on going uptil 25 yrs professors . The teaching method is in general similar to other instituitons which includes regular lectures , quiz , tutorials and assignments

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

2.5

If you are like active programmer who has worked with faculties for research papers and projects you get directly call from the companies but if you are like average student you have to search internship by your own from 3rd party sources such as linkedin , intershala etc

Placement Experience

3.5

The placements are centralised under VIT . placements starts anywhere from 5-6th semester till 8 th semester . their are placement programs running right from 2nd year . the average package for this year was 9 lpa . Top mnc such as blackrock , microsoft , jp morgan

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of vit is similar to other campuses such as vellore , chennai . Which can range from starting of 1.98 lac to 5 lac . the better your rank is the better your fees is gonna be . Vit provides some scholarship for the top rankers but nothing as such for the above range .

Campus Life

2.5

Annual fest in general is conducted in february which is 3-4 day event consisting of dance , music , dj shows , drama etc . The campus life isnt much exciting due to the lack of current infrastructure as the campus is still in development hence half of the campus (250 acres ) is empty .

Hostel Facilities

The hostels are divided in two categories premium and normal thus you can understand their would be difference in price also . Currently their are total of 6 blocks + 2 girls hostel block . the hostel mess is ok , typical hostel food . The menu gets changed every month . You can avail 2beded non ac / ac room to 8 beded rooms

Hostel Fee: INR 140000 per year
