College life is good. many events conducted.
Sports activities are good and regular conducted

Dislikes

Campus size is too short and in approx 50 Acers
In this college 75% attendance is compulsory
Boys hostel is too short and hostel is not good

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because electrical engineering is a stem branch. And I also went to a government job after clearing the IES examination. The faculty is very helpful and also connected with students. All faculty qualification is completed Ph.D. Teaching methods are good. After a two-month regular term exam is conducted and completing unit then conduct the class test. Class test is normal question and term exam is higher than class test.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 450000 per year

Internships Opportunities

From the third year, you got the internship. The college conducts many companies. When you have good skills and attendance is above 80% you can easily sit in the college internship program. Many projects like gooleco.

Placement Experience

4.5

From third year students eligible for campus placement. Wipro, Tech Mahindra, and many others. The highest package is approx 20 lpa and the average is 5 lpa. 80% of students got placed. After getting the degree I cleared the IES exam for a government job.

Fees and Financial Aid

Low fee structure other than many colleges. In this college you can get fees yearly and no other charges like exam fees and others. Many scholarships provide like up government scholarships, Bihar like student credit cards, etc.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is good. Aarambh is the name of the annual fest and also many other fest conducted. Many books like btech, MBA, mca, pharmacy related books are available and many magazines and daily news are available. Sports like cricket, volleyball, kabaddi, badminton, and basketball are on the campus. Clubs like lingo, spega, and many clubs are run by students.

Admission

A minimum of 60% in the board exam is eligible for this course. You can fill application form directly and through Upsee counseling. Up-domicile students get more reservations and get many benefits. The overall admission process is good.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

Galgotias College Brutal Honest Review

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More

I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well.
