Course Curriculum Overview

The course is on a semester basis its a 4-year course. I chose this course because it has a good scope and can earn well abroad. The faculty are really good. Qualification of faculty ranges from Master's degree to PhD with many years of experience in teaching and clinical setup. Every six months there will be a semester exam so annually two exams

Class Size: 99Course Fees: INR 88000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees will be reduced from the second year. Maximum fees for the complete four years will be around 4Lakhs College itself provides timely advice regarding government scholarships. No stipends are given any campus jobs are available

Campus Life

Every year cultural celebrations like Freshers Day, ethnic day, Nurses Week, sports day and all festivals and special day celebrations like Teachers and children's day are celebrated. A separate nursing college library is available every day. Free borrowing of books is available. Classrooms are well equipped with OHP and digital projector, writing benches and podium

Admission

I applied through an online college website and the application fee is around 1500 rupees. Students who completed 12th with Biology physics chemistry with a 50% minimum percentage are eligible. Admissions are done based on the entrance exam and interview. Reservation and maximum priority is given to Roman Catholics as it is a catholic christian institution

I'm very happy for being studying in this college. To be said in one word it is the best college that focused and goal orientated.
They are very helpful and understandable well communication., the quality of teaching is very great. Teacher's are very helpful.
There is a Library which is very helpful to us for making notes or getting knowledge.

Dislikes

There is no campus in a college. There is no parking facilities.
Canteen facility is very bad. We don't get deserved food.
Faculty is bad. there is a language problem. There is no teacher - student interaction.

It's good in some point and it is bad in some point both are present. The college has good maintenance and good faculty and infrastructure and good environment and there is no feel of hospital when we enter college premises

For the course I applied only to St John's and CMC Vellore. The admission process in this college includes applying for the KCET which is the admission portal for Karnataka colleges. Based on your marks and a interview you'll be selected. there is no chance of recommendation. The eligibility criteria is you should be 12th pass with bio science. The cutoff based on the recent admissions is above 90%. I was accepted to the college before the entrance exam for CMC Vellore that's why I chose to go here. I didn't apply to any other colleges however i did get admission in dr sommervelil medical college in kerala and i rejected it because St Johns was better rated and had a better reputation.
