Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted to pursue a career in management and that's why I chose this course. the gender diversity in our college is great and the faculty is very friendly and dedicated. All are professors are PhD holders and they are usually friendly. the term exams in our college were held pretty timely, the end semesters happen in December and May.
Internships Opportunities
As I am a second-year student I have not done any internships but most of the internships offered are non-paid and the roles are general intern roles. examples of companies offering internships are SHAHERNAMA, VISHALAKSHI FOUNDATION, SHOPPEALTECH etc. roles offered are HR intern, social media analyst intern, marketing intern, data analyst intern etc.
Placement Experience
In the 5th sem, the students are eligible for placements. Companies like Flipkart, Aditya Birla and a no of startups have shown up in the place season. The last highest package registered was 9 lakh per annum and the average package is around 2.5 lakhs per annum The percentage of students getting placed is around 65%. After getting a degree I am planning to do an MBA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee hike per year is not much and the books for the respective courses are issued from the library itself. so the cost to study is also not much. I have not applied for the scholarship so I don't know about it but there are opportunities available for a scholarship, I am currently in the second year so I have not got any job on campus but my seniors have received offers from companies like Flipkart, Aditya Birla etc.
Campus Life
The annual fest of our college is named OAJ. The infrastructure is ok but the college campus is small in size. There are various clubs like placement cell which is run by students dance club, drama club etc. The classrooms are spacious and have smartboards installed in them. Sports like cricket, kabaddi, volleyball etc are played in the college I am a part of the college cricket team.
Admission
For eligibility in my course, you must have more than 55% in class 12th from any recognised board. for admission to NPGC, you have to take an entrance exam for which the forms are available from the college website and the dates range between May to July, the application form is for 1000 rupees. the selections are made based on rank in the entrance exam. I feel the admission procedure is good but if a personal interview could be done, it would be great
