Likes

Campus and Infrastructure is best. Including Classroom and Hostel.
I feel Completely Secured inside Campus.
Completely Anti-ragging as A fresher I never feel like I'm not secure here.

Dislikes

The thing disliked me Is something about mess food. Mess is not of that good level
Crowd because of open admission many students take admission.
More power given to Guards. Sometimes Guards behave like professors

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose Btech CSE because of my interest in Softwares. In My college behaviour of faculty is Very good As you have any issues at any time then faculty member is always there to help you. Here College provide us a Mentor also who always there to Help us. All faculty are PHD in there respective subject. Exams are often taken Weekly and not much that difficult to pass if you focused on Class.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 240000 per year

Internships Opportunities

As I'm a fresher and I don't get any internship yet. But I confirmed from my senior that after 1st year companies start coming to our campus and giving Internships to 2nd year student I also think that in 2024 I also got some good internship But If we talk about project work I'm in first year but I learn about many projects like how to make how to give presentation and many more things because of efforts of facilities.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees Of my course BTech CSE in LPU is 240000 per year but after getting scholarship of 35000 per semester means 70000 per year now I only have to pay 170000 per year. It's not that much high If we look at the Campus and the opportunities College provide us.

Campus Life

As we All know LPU is famous for Best Campus and infrastructure and it's a fact that after coming here we got many opportunities to grow in different field. In campus We got A central Library and all hostel all have a separate Library for hosteller. Now I'm a member of optimizer Club In which I teach many things like how to conduct event and many more. I am a big cricket lover and here every year we have a sports event of Every hostel with a name of Inter hostel and Intra hostel where all the selected students get chance to represent their hostel.

Hostel Facilities

I live In a 4 setter room here I got many facilities including AC, Gycier, and many more important things. I opted for 3 times meals per day which is not that bad as we all know about food quality in mess. I want to give like 3 out of 5 stars to food quality. Registration process is very easy If you qualify LPUNEST exam then for to secure your hostel room you have to pay 10000. PG is also available outside the Campus. But as a fresher I prefer to live in hostel because of security Issues. In hostel and Campus I feel 100% Secured.

Hostel Fee: INR 90000 per year

Admission

Here is LPUNEST exam to get direct admission in College. Through which you can directly take admission in College and Scholarship is Also given to top 30% student of given Exam . Scholarship is upto 35000 per semester.

Likes

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Dislikes

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

Likes

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts
Skilled professional educators and tutors

Dislikes

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

Placement Experience:

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements and tata or Infosys companies visited and about 60 to 70 percent students were placed and my plans after getting the degree is to opt for higher studies doing mtech from iit

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
