- Campus life is often very active and lively with jamming sessions being a frequent site.
- Clinical postings, that are mandatory for the students of physiotherapy, helps in better understanding concepts while also developing interactive skils with patients.
- There are always some or the other events that do take place which is good as it helps not feeling a monotonous lifestyle.
Dislikes
- The mess timings could be a bit more flexible in order to fit the routine of everyone
- Strict rules and regulations of the hostel are also a negative point as one is required to not hold any electric appliances like a kettle or an iron resulting in a fine that is never a fixed amount if any student is found possessing them.
- As a hostelite curfew fails to make sense to me, as one must hold a gate pass in order to exit the university gates after the college hours are complete.
Course Curriculum Overview
The field of physiotherapy was very intriguing in on it self for me which lead me towards this course. As for the faculty, they seem to be well versed in their subjects but often time lack the vocabulary and language skills when trying to explain certain difficult topics. The exams on the other hand were held on time were never exactly overlooked and they seem to be having a very clear benchmark that the students need to cross in order to proceed to the next term.
Internships Opportunities
The university itself offers various paid and unpaid internships for its students despite if it is mandatory for their undertaking course. Other than that it has many tie-ups that result in useful internship and even placements for which camps are set up as well.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure seemed reasonable as compared to some of its counterparts the often times the hike is quite minimal. The student section of any college within the campus makes sure that all students are aware of any type of scholarships or any other financial aid, that may be helpful to anyone in need, is provided.
Campus Life
The annual fest, Dhoom, is something that is widely encouraged through out the staff. Regular fests and events are conducted that involves countless celebrities by the Department of Cultural Affairs and many other such bodies. The libraries are well equipped with all the necessary reference material. New clubs and groups of students sharing same interests are often popping up, recently a skateboarding club has gained a lot of popularity among the students.
Hostel Facilities
The on campus hostels provide mess facilities along with free limited laundry service. Apart from that the routine house keeping is also present. The mess however almost never comes up to the mark when the food or cleanliness is concerned. The quality of the food remains at an al time low with making subtle and temporary improvements.
Admission
The seats were provided on the basis of the overall result of 12th. The application process is completed in the Vadodara campus itself but it can be initiated online via their website. As far as reservations are concerned I didn't avail any reservations so I am not aware of it. The admission process was good as is but if crowd management was better then it would be rather more convenient.
