Dislikes
- lack of innovation - most of the people are here to get placed and no one generally talks about innovation , creativity etc
- lack of teaching - professors generally do not teach us , we have to cover our syllabus on our own without help
- old infrastructure - dtu being very old college has certain infrastructure which needs renovation
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because of keen interst in this domain , I want to explore various domains and learn new things and outgrow myself from it, want to learn how mechanics is used in real life problem. The faculty to student ratio is 1:25 and they are highly qualifed with lot of qualifications like batchelors , masters , phd etc. Exams were conducted on time and held properly , a person with decent preperation can easily ace the exam
Internships Opportunities
there are lot of companies visiting our college for internship like microsoft , apple , amazon , paytm. They generally require an aptitude based round to be cleared by students along with internal cgpa shortlisting and then selected candidates are called for coding interviews.
Placement Experience
students become eligible from 5 th sememster. It is compulsory for the students to get summer training as it is of 2 credits to be alloted by the university. The companies are a lot like microsoft, google , amazon , sprinklr , codeforces , paytm etc. Highest package is 1.8cr by facebook london. most students get placed with recent placement ratio as 89.32% I want to get placed in decent company and work there.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is normal and reasonable mostly people afford it , if you are a aday scholar and want to study in college , the total fees is around 1200000 for overall btech , with a 10% hike each year. People who accomodate hostel , the fees changes to 1400000 according to the room they have been provided. Financial aids are given to those who score really great marks and have very less family income
Campus Life
There are lot of fests. The main annual cultural fests happenss in the month of February called Engifest, which has a lot of footfall and several events,activities are been done in this along with live performances of several great artists. The tech fest is called techweek organised by our IEEE society that aims to use tech for the innovation and development. Classrooms are occupied with ac and have decent space to accommodate large group
Hostel Facilities
There are various hostels. 8 boys hostels and 4 girls hostels. The mess food is taken by external contractor which prepares decent food as per the prices charged from us. We are served 4 meals a day mainly - breakfast , lunch and dinner which is really hygeninc and tasty. The registration process is to login to hostel website of our college , fill the required documents and hostel are allotted directly
Admission
Generally serveral criteria are used to determine the qualification and elgibility of a course in dtu. Below are some of the several qualifications required. You are required to have atleast 60% marks in your 10+2 to pass the JAC counselling. You are required to qualify JEE mains and cutoff list is prepared accordingly to various category
