FESTS: the fests of DTU are just lit.... Like you guys are never ever gonna get bored in the college

Hostel are not provided to delhi students
Canteen prices are not wothit.... To expensive with almost no taste
Locality of dtu: It is present in bawana which is a village kinda area

Course Curriculum Overview

Just wanted to pursue my career in cars and automobiles so I opted mechanical engineering. Faculty is very lenient. All the faculties have done PHD, they have a very special teaching method. Unlike school teachers, they are more trained for teaching purpose Term exams were on time. 1 semester End sems are ended on 14th December. The exam difficulty is not that much but yes checking is kinda tough

Internships Opportunities

Almost all big companies visit dtu for the interns recruitment. Names are listed : amazon, microsoft, tata, hundai, paytm, phonepay, NVEDIA, zomato Well mostly computer science students are offered with internship offers which is a drawback for other branches

Placement Experience

In about 5-6 semester, students become eligible for internship, and by 7th sem they are eligible for placements Amazon,paytm , flipkart,tata, bhail, sail are few well known companies that enter the campus..... Higesht package is around 82LPA and average is around 12.21 LPA which is offered to 1500 students 90 percent of students got placed I will opt the placement after getting the degree.... And will also look after for further studies (M TECH)

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is provided to the students by many sponsers.... Recently dell scholarship was provided to students with low family income in which they were provided laptops and their tution fees was refunded.

Campus Life

Engifest is the annual fest. It is conducted in the month of feburary. This year, the dates announced are 12th february to 18th feburary. All kind of books are available in library including b-tech books , phd books etc. The campus is boomed with Sports and extracurricular activities . Sports complex is so gigantic. So many clubs and societies are there in the college.

Admission

70% in PCM in class 12th Counselling through JAC delhi, which is out after JEE mains exam 70% reserved for delhites The admission process was kinda time taking and full of hustle bustle. But over all it was worthit for this college

Good college for leaning and enjoy campus life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

If you got no placement then they will give you the opportunity to start the startup. starting the 4th year you get the placement and opportunities. this college visits many companies like Amazon HCL Flipkart etc. this college's highest package is 26 LPA and the average package is 10.5 LPA. 80% of students get placed. my plan is after taking the degree I will start my startup.

A NICE LITTLE INFO ON MY FAV. DTU

I have applied to GGSIPU , AKTU and other state colleges , I got admission in all of them but DTU was better than them So i chose it I also managed to crack bits goa but the fees was legit too high for me to afford I get rejected from lower NITS because of my rank. Rank is the only deciding factor in getting into college, nothing else college admission was just like school admission. The only difference was the huge pile of documents. You have to submit so many papers, category documents, residence documents To be eligible, you need to score at least 60% in your Class 12th boards for all category students You also have to sit for the JEE exam, and your admission depends entirely on your JEE rank...Read More
