DTU is not college it's a emotion.

Course curriculum and faculty members are good . I choose mechanical engineering here because at this rank I did get any good college like that with such a decent branch so opt it . Faculty student is also good and it is about 70:1 . All facily members are well qualified and PhD holders and their teaching methods are also good but some exceptions are their too . We have mid semester exams in every 45 days and end semester exams in 60 days after mid semester exams . And it is easy to pass in exams as I mentioned above that teachers are well qualified so they explained better and some credit goes to students also because they are serious and dedicated for their studies .

Internship opportunities in our college is good. Students get internship opportunities from 5th semester onwards and they get very good internship offers . Some big internship opportunities providing companies are Amazon , apple , Adobe , TCS , etc and give very good stipend too . Internship offers in DTU are ranging from 30000/month to upto 1 lakh / month . These are the big tech companies providing internship opportunities.

Placements of our college is good . Almost every student placed if he/she have work on their skills . Students eligible for placement from 7th semester. Almost all big companies are visit to our college and give high packages to students. Some big companies visited our college are Amazon , Google , Flipkart , Goldman Sachs , etc and each student get one offer if he wanted to take 2 offer than he need to drop previous offer first than he will eligible for another offer . Highest package is of 1.8 cr in 2022 and average stoods on 15lpa .almost 90 percentage of students are placed in our college . I am thinking to get a high package from dtu so I worked on my skill .

Fees are little bit higher side . It is around 229000. And hostel and mess fees are out of it . Hostel and mess fee is about 86800 combined . Yeah some scholarship opportunities are also their but I don't think it is enough for any middle class and lower middle class student to pay such a high fee . Fee hike policy is also their which increase almost 10 Percent fees every year . Some scholarship are given such as dtu financial assistance , merit cum means scholarship by state government of delhi but state government does not provide this scholarship for previous two years .

Life in DTU is chill and relaxing . Tech fest , cultural fest sports fest are organising their time to time . And North India's second biggest cultural fest are also organised in DTU namely ' Engifest ' . Engifest is conducted in the month of January. Dtu Library have their own legacy as it contains thousands of books and journals to read . Sports activities are also their and at where higher level . Dtu sports team play in many tournaments conducted by iits , Nits and other universities. Sports facilities are also good their . In DTU almost every society, clubs is run by the students named as AIMS which is AI and ML model based Society , raftaar , inferno are some good societies which is run by the students.

Hostel facilities are little bit good . Some hostel are well mainted but some are not . Hostel of girls and senior are good but hostels of freshers are not well maintained and on older side . And small rooms with one fan , a table , a chair , a bed given to a student and a room contains two students and is hard to maintain room decora as it is small in size . Mess menu is good but sometimes mess food is need to improve their quality. Registration for hostel is easy we just need to fill a form and need to pay hostel fee that's it .

Students need to appear for jee main exam and admission is done on the basis of jee crl rank . In DTU 85 percent seats are reserved for NCT Delhi students i.e. for students who done their 12th in any school in NCT of delhi and 15 seats are for all over India . Reservation quota according to their caste is also their . Admission is done through jac Delhi councelling. Every is good in this college , but I think reservation of 85 percent for Delhi candidates is create a little bit difficulty to non delhi candidates to get a good college at good rank .
