Likes

Neighborhood and maintenance of lpu is so good
Security in the lpu is so tight . And you will get strict instructions here for how to behave in campus
Examination system in lpu thinks a lot about there students

Dislikes

Subject depth will be a lack in this good University
Reappear exam modes are far away if they can keep within no time it would be better
Class tests should be more better in form of depth and corrections.

1.I am interested in computer science department and I am very keen to learn about coding 2.Lpu is the only university having 30 thousand plus students with a ration of 3 thousand lectures.So they are maintaining it very well 3.Faculty get qualified by aboard of interview and most of faculty in lpu are doctorate's .Teaching method will be good they will follow central government norms to give every student the same quality of education 4.for every 4 months there will be a sem Which are End term exams and in middle of sem there is mkd term . For a change mid terms In lpu are more difficult to score than end term .Lpu is giving extension 5 times you can re appear to the exam if you got failed in it. There is no backlog until aggregate attendance of particular student is low

1.from semester 6 students will applicable for placements. 2.Many companies from many parts of India come and offer multiple job opportunities 3.Highest package till date is secured by a girl of 65 lpa and given by Google.Lowest packages are 8 lpa given by Accenture 4.100 percent placements you will see in lpu there is no doubt 5.My plans to study more for any specialisation of AI

1 Lpu is giving me 35 percent scholarship which I gained through my lpunest entrance examination.my fees is very affordable for me when compared with other universities 2.scholarship is lpu nest scholarship given by lpu with 35 percent

Campus Life

1. Annual fest will be done every 1 year most probably in month of April Tech fest will be done in every 1 year there is no accurate month for it . 2.Lpu library is the biggest block you need to explore here.every department belonged books available here. 3. Classrooms are well maintained, with good hygiene and technology 4.sports will be associated with central government policy here every day you will see a spots program here. 5.social groups like: Java developer, Cyber group of lpu, Tech followers etc

Hostel Facilities

1.rooms here are good they are divided in blocks and apartment which varies with price and cleanliness here will come with price only. 2.meals are good they follow evey part of Indian dishes. 3.registration process will be done In April most probably.It will be released to lpu official website so we can reserve any room by paying 5000 rupees. 4.locality is good and the security in lpu is very tight .I'm in apartment provided by lpu

Eligibility: 12 th marks min 60 percent, Application: official website of lpu is available, dates you can check in official website Url: www.lpu.in Application fees will be : 1500 rupees for boys 1000 for girls Reservation: not availed Admission process of lpu is even good now .it is one of the universities in India which are giving more extension for student to get admission in University .

Likes

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Dislikes

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Likes

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

Inside NITJ- Beyond the Brochure

Likes

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

Likes

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts
Skilled professional educators and tutors

Dislikes

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

Placement Experience:

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

Big campus and beautiful garden and environment
Aqi was soo good because plants and tree was so much

Mess food was bad but it doesn't taste that bad
If we Complaint about anything college mostly ignore it

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements and tata or Infosys companies visited and about 60 to 70 percent students were placed and my plans after getting the degree is to opt for higher studies doing mtech from iit

I like the machines that's why I choose the mechanical branch in engineering line. Noida , Gurgoan , Chandigarh , Bengluru and many other areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

Dislikes

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
