LPU Pros and Cons

I chose this course because I wanted to be a software engineer since my childhood. There are a lot of faculty members here, in LPU. They are friendly and they teach very well. Speaking about the ratio, it's like our of 10 students there will be 2 faculty members. Qualifications of the faculty depends upon their experience also. If they work for like 20 years, they might have a PhD, and they will be an associate professor, or assistant professor. Or maybe a professor. The method they teach is really good. But still students have to put a lot of efforts to learn particular topic. The time they provide during examination is around 1 hour to 2 hours. Not more than that.

As of now, I don't have enough information about the placements and interships provided by the university. Like I said you'll get more information once you get into the university. But I can assure you that if you learn very well. You'll get the best placement.

Placement of this college is still unknown for me since I'm a first year fresher student. I have no idea about that. But eventually you'll know about the placements and interships provided from the university.

The fees for a particular course depend on the amount of interest for that single course. If the seats are less then the fees will be high and vice versa. The cost of studying is actually less compared to the other colleges. The name of the scholarship is LPUNEST. You'll get financial assistance. For that, you have to get the fee details from the university and you have to provide those details to your respective bank.

There is a building called DSW which is just for the students who want to upskill their skills apart from studies.. There is another building called a sports complex where you can develop your sports skills. And there are tons of social groups, clubs, etc. where students can get involved and get benefits from it.

Hostels are better than some outside PGs. But still, if you're a person who wants to roam around a lot, then go for PGs or rented rooms. There's an area called Law Gate, which is not safe for women. So better find a good place after staying in the hostel for like 1 semester. After that find a good place by contacting the seniors. Each hostel provides a mess area but the food we get is not that good. But still better than the other colleges.

The eligibility for the course is that one should have at least 60% aggregate marks in 12th(plus two). And that one should write the entrance exam for LPUNEST, JEE, and CUET. And they will get scholarships depending upon the criteria given in the official site of LPU. You'll find all the application forms, fees, and dates in their official site. Don't know about the reservation benefits. But you'll get everything in their site. The admission process is a bit slow, but still you'll get through every process easily.
