My overall experience till now is very good as per the roi du college are best and sbsc is one of them sbsc provide you with exposure you get to know about many things and able to participate in it
Things thati like the most is the sports faculty which is one of the best in du campus.

Dislikes

Things that I don't like about sbsc is it doesn't have a hostel to stay that's why students have to Live in pgs and flat in very High amount

Course Curriculum Overview

I decided to opt bcom as my course because I was very much interested in finance and wanted to pursue my career towards it. Faculty is very good and helpful always listen to students problem and give concrete solution to it. Most of the faculty teachers are PhD and some are pursuing it. Method of teaching is fully digital and sometimes they use blackboard if student is enable to understand. In every 6 month exam are conducted which are also known as mid sem exam and it is very easy to pass if you have studied your subject thoroughly

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 13200 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like Tata consultancy, Deloitte, Ernst and young, De shaw group, KPMG provide students with internship witch stipend around 15 k per month Tasks given during the internship are like salesmen , accountant and market research.

Placement Experience

From semester 5th all students are eligible for campus placement. Some of the big names are de shaw, kpmg, Deloitte, Ernst and young India which heir more than 300 students for job. Highest ever package offer was 23 lpa from Deloitte in 2023.average was around 6 lpa and lowest was 2.3 lpa 76% of students where placed in the year 2023. My plans after my degree is to pursue MBA and for exam like CDS and Afcat

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't think the college fees is much high as a government college it is only charging a amount of 13000 per year which is very low in a city like delhi. Merit based scholarship, sports scholarship sc,st,obc scholarship. Campus jobs are provided during the 5 and 6 sem

Campus Life

Divoytsav is a traditional cultural fest which happened during November before Diwali Antardhvani is an ethnic fest happens around the month of April Library is fully updated all kinds of book can be find here. Library is fully digital. Classroom consists of Projector ,Heating and Cooling Systems,Audio Systems etc Sbsc have their own basketball, volleyball and football team which are very popular in du campus and are very strong team. Their are many societies in college run by students like Noor, Rotaract, cgcc, placement cell etc.

Admission

Eligibility is to give cuet by opting only those subject which you have studied in your class 12. Cuet application form you can find from smarth.cuet application dated starts in around February and fess is 1500 for 4 subjects. Improvement that I want to see is the process is very much delayed and management of conducting the exam is very mismanaged .

SRCC- Asia's Best college experience

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although, people say that B.Com doesn't have a great scope to it, I feel like there are many life lessons that we are taught during our college years. Since the introduction of NEP 2020, there has been a rather great emphasis on practical learning. In our college, we are asked for presentations and group projects to promote learning and communication. The presence of SEC and VAC also helps you develop your soft skills, groom your personality and live a happy and healthy life. Exams are help at the end of every semester. There are a few guides and PYQs with the help of which a student can prepare for these exams. They are relatively easy in my opinion and do not require extreme efforts. Overall, it's a great experience and a great opportunity to learn so many things.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose b.Com because I am from a commerce background. It is an open college class held only on Sundays classrooms are good but washrooms are average. Teachers are experienced and well-educated. Exams are held on every 6 months semester wise you have to study hard to clear exams.

Placement Experience:

Well I was very clear to go for MBA after completing the program so placement was never a big deal for me but there are few companies which come every year at the last sem for placements and 10-20% get good placement.

My experience at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College so far !!

To get admission into any college of University of Delhi you need to appear in CUET ( Common University Entrance Exam ). Cutoffs vary from college to college depending on how many students apply for that college. I simply chose SBSC over other colleges i was eligible for because it was the best option i had and since i didn't want to go to a girls college so preferred SBSC over DRC and IP and also over ARSD, SGGSCC and all other colleges at this level. I also got admitted in christ Bangalore ( Central Campus ) and Narsee Monjee ( Mumbai Campus ). But these institutions didn't seem worth it and Delhi University in general has a better reputation....Read More
