Remarks

Overall the college is good for under graduation. Good placements. College management is good and helpful. 8.5/10 rating from my side.

This college follows the curriculum set by Pune university as it is affiliated to Pune University. College is going to be autonomous by the end of this year or by next year i.e 2019. Curriculum is good for whole over development of a student. College has various labs and top facilities at each department. College has for departments mainly Computers, Mechanical, Electronics and IT. They all have their top class labs and facilities. College labs have computers with new Technology and softwares.

Internships Opportunities

College give notices about various Internships and professors help in giving recommendation letter to various institutions for Internship. Average stripend depend on company to company. But usually students do Internship on their own and find Internship according to their convince. It is most of the time easier for students to get Internship as all of us belong to army background and have what companies want.

Placement Experience

Placement are top notch and main attraction of this college it is one of the best college for placements even better than few NIT's . Recently 5 students from our college placed in Microsoft at 50 LPA and average package is 8 LPA. Computer students have best placements almost 100% placement record. Almost all students from all branches get placement either in campus or out campus.

College Events

We have various fests conducted in our college. There are two fests one is intra college between various branches other one is inter college fest it is further divided into technical cultural and sports fest which is a large level fest in which various colleges from Pune participate including Army Colleges like NDA, AFMC & CME.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure for FE is around 2.5 lakhs including hostel food laundry and everything. Hostel is compulsory for first year students. It's feasible as othe government colleges are also charging around 1.5 LPA so being in private college this is fair enough. More over every 1 in 4 student get scholarship.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are various scholarships given to students 1 in every 4 student get scholarship. Information about scholarships is present on college website and being displayed in college notice board regularly.

Campus Life

College has both girls as well as boys but being an engineering college number of girls are less than boys. Boys is to girls ratio is 6:1 . All sports facilities are being provided including basketball, Badminton ,tennis squash ,Table tennis,football,cricket and many other. Gym is also there.There are various clubs in college few of them are Robotics club, Innovation club ,OSS club etc.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are good. Regular maintenance is done. There are three type of rooms available in hostel. Singlet Doublet and triplet. There is night canteen in every hostel. Hostels are clean most of the time and dedicated cleaning staff is always working to keep hostel clean

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

We have good alumni connection. They help us in getting Internship and jobs we have Alumni meet every year in second week of December. We are connected to them through Facebook.

Exam Structure

Exams pattern is as per Savitribai Phule Pune university. We have online as well as ofline exams. Exams conducted every month. Exams are not tough. First year students don't have Practical exams but they have lab sessions. Practical exams start from second year. Labs provide good and healthy environment.

Admission

This college is just for Army wards and it give admission purely on Jee mains ranking. Details about college is genrated regularly on vollege website aitpune.com. Admission procedure mainly starts in May mid. FORM FOR THIS COLLEGE HAS TO BE FILLED SEPERATELY THOUGH THEY TAKE ADMISSION ON THE BASIS OF JEE MAINS RANKING.

Faculty

Our College have faculty with experience few of them are PhD holders. Faculty is helpful while doing any project! Faculty have experience and dedicated towards teaching. Some of them are though bit inexperienced but you always get their support when needed.

Honest review if you wanna opt for this college

Likes

The girls to boy ratios is good, we get to see all girls equal contributing in the college
The faculty is good, they are very helpful and give good guidance
The boys and girls common room is good to get together with friends to chill and study

Dislikes

Faculty being good they are sassy and might ignore for a time to teach you that not everything will be entertained
The principal is kinda rude and his speech is too long
Well other activities like sports isn't support properly

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem students are eligible for placement Companies visited are tcs and few others i don't remember their names The average package is 5 lpa and the highest is 13 lpa Mostly 80-90% of students gets placement as they do a placement training for us amd prepares us for the placement exams and interviews and all My personal plan is to go abroad for higher studies but i am going to sit for placement if i get good package then i might not go to abroad for higher studies

I really liked the infrastructure of the college its very nice and has good environment .
DPCOE is famous for its sports , it has massive turf where kids of 4 to 5 age has their matches
Also i like my department , as i am an automobile engineering we need most practical knowledge , this college offers a big workshop just for us an also yearly event for automobile students . Also clubs are there which has reputation of national rank

Dislikes

I kind of felt that faculty can be biased sometimes also do not care what and how we want to study .
Watchman can be little rude sometimes , also informing that their are exam coming in next week are to be informed at leat 10 days before. I have a suggestion of preparing acadamic calender of year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Mit aoe has good faculties and teaching and academic are good enough
Not too crowded as intake is 1300 students of the college
Gender ratio is almost 4:3 as of my batch

Dislikes

Mit aoe Campus is very small hardly 4 to 5 acres
Mit aoe fees is costly comparitively to the other colleges
Mit aoe Campus is almost at the edge of pcmc makes hard for traveling to the main city

Placement Experience:

I think students are eligible for internship from 2 nd year and about placement it is nice with the comparison to others like Sinhgad ,marathwada and alll companies like jsw,cisco ,eq technology and many more are visited in placement cell

Dislikes

Campus is huge but is mostly empty need of development.
Need of infrastructure and sports facility for students.
Need of contact no. Of emergency contact of the staff.

Placement Experience:

I talk with most of the senior and faculty and placement cell start of 3 rd year you will get internship opportunities and and in 4 th year you will get placement opportunity. But senior told me off campus placement preparation must be go on you will find good opportunity. Highest package is 12 lpa and average is 4 lpa is good for freshers.

Easy Money

Likes

Rhythm. It’s a cultural fest that this college hosts and it is the only time of the year where there’s a vast majority of events you could participate in.
TECHITHON. It’s a Tech fest that this college hosts and it has tech events which encourages students to grow and learn more as this aligns with our course.
Friends. The last and only good thing about this college I’d say are the friends I’ve made across the years.

Dislikes

Infrastructure. I’m not really a fan of the infrastructure that is being provided by this college.
Campus. The campus has many such areas that cannot be accessed by students and god knows for what reason.
Stupid Rules. One stupid rule i can think of is that students are not allowed to use their cell phones in the campus nor can the students use their headphones without being on their phones despite it being an Engineering college this makes no sense.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course currently is in high demand and this is the course which offers the highest percentage of placements. Computer Engineering is the fundamental course one could pursue if they want to get into technology. We currently have 2 Internal Exams in each semester which prepares us well for the semester.

Hello, The infrastructure of the college is top class.
Their are multiple events in the college every month.
The faculty of the college are also well experienced as well as very friendly.

Dislikes

There are no AC in all the class only some of the class have AC

Placement Experience:

The placement percentage in my college is nearly 70-80%. The minimum package offered is 2.5 LPA and the highest is nearly 33 LPA . The average package is 4-5 LPA. Many companies vists are college as our college is NAAC accredited which has a grade of A+.

Staffs were quite supportive and helpful.
Good faculty. They helped throughout semester and taught well.
There were placements from beginning of 4th year. So, it was quite good for me.

Dislikes

I don't liked the college campus. It's under construction. Hope will become better some day.
No events , no tech fests. No excitement
Good companies offering higher packages not visited college.

Placement Experience:

Companies started sending their placements form to college groups from starting of the 7th semester. For particular branches, particular companies visited. Many companies send their placement forms this year. But each selected a max of 2-3 candidates only. In the strength of 76, 15 got placed on campus this year. Selection rates or placements criteria were too low.

One of the best colleges in Maharashtra

Remarks:

Focusing on student's attendence rather than focusing on students concepts. College is not focusing in development of students only paperwork is done. No conceptul teaching nor practical. By doing this stuff we can get a btech degree but not the knowledge a btech student should have.

I give jee mains and advance and got 95 %ile at this percentile this was the best college which I can get it has far better placement then other private colleges especially for girls it is too good .it has an average package of 14 lkh and highest package is 51 lkh last year in microsoft. it focus both on academic and other co circular activities. For admission in this college u have to apply for jee mains and then fill the form of ait which is out in Jan or Feb then on merit based u get your branch and seat.
