What Students Say

Likes

Likable thing is that University provides you a mentor meeting in which you can dicuss about your problems which you are facing in University. And mentor will definitely help you . And they also provide you information related to University .
Inside the University you will get most of the things like Mall, restaurant, food court, playing ground, swimming pool etc . In terms of infrastructure University is best.
If you want a decent package, then also you may choose LPU. Also security is good in college.

Dislikes

Like their fee structure is too much for poor or middle class people to afford. So i see this as a disadvantage.
Most of the teachers are here good but some will just waste your time so you have to be independent and stand on your own feet for reading new things.
Like if you are day scholar then you are not allowed to stay at University after 7pm which i personally don't like . Their guard at main gate will write your name for staying after 7 pm at college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose b.tech cse in this college because of good placement records of the college. And college also provides good facilities and good infrastructure. Also you will get a personal mentor here , who will help you in your academics.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 240000 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Their are more than 1000 companies which are use come to University every year . You just have to work hard and give your best in studies then you will surely get good internship but if you will not study then their is no guarantee of placement .

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement are not bad or good , but decent. If you will study hard and give your time to study and develop skills then definitely you will get good packages. But if you will not study and don't take it seriously then their is no guarantee of placements .

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure for b.tech cse in LPU is 120000 per semester. University provides scholarship based on the result of LPUNEST in which you will be categorized in one of the 3 categories . If you score good then you will get good scholarship .

Campus Life

Life at the campus will be joyful for you, if you are interested in curriculum activities. University provides many opportunities to develop skills. And also organizes many competition so that you can know your level.

Admission

You have to give their entrance exam of lpunest according to that you will get admission in college and they also provide you some scholarships according to your marks in that exam , and their scholarship was divided in 3 categories I, II, and III. Also you can take admission through CUET or JEE result .

campus life is absolutely banger and it is great to have friends here
crowd is bonkers , except some local peeps , they'd be behaving weird
major events like freshers and orientation , they bring crazzy artists

Dislikes

hectic schedules drain the soul of you .
frequent exams test that are totally unnecesary
attendance is another nuisance , having 75 percent is must

A TOUR TO CGC LANDRAN

Likes

Events are more frequent here and most of the stars from punjabi industry are called more often for film promotions
No ragging is there infact seniors are friendly and try to help juniors
TPP (training and placement program) is provided that help students to crack placements

Dislikes

Attendance criteria (minimum 75 % is essential to maintain to be eligible to give exams)
Class timings are fixed from 9:15 to 4:35 and you can not enter in between 10 to 12:00 PM as gates are closed for this duration
Strength is rapidly increasing as new courses are introduced which increases competition during placements

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent, from 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement students need to enroll in TPP(Training and placement program) in order to get eligible for campus placement, Many companies visit our campus for eg Capgemini, LNT, ZSCALER, EDIFECS, AMAZON, PWC, WATCHGUARD TECHNOLOGIES etc overall above 200 offerrs are made to our senior batch with the highest package of 32LPA and average package of around 4.5LPA. more than 60% of students get placed . I am also sitting for campus placement and wish to get placed soon

College Life is Fun, Various activities and events happen in and around college, you got to know about others and crowd is also decent, Mostly Students are from northern regions that is Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand .
Teachers are good and placement coordinators also help students to get good package on campus. a decent package can be bagged by a student if he/she seriously study and obtain a decent CGPA in exam. Make sure you clear all exams till 8th semester.
Infrastructure Is also good, laboratories are fitted with new desktops and campus size is also decent, Tuck shops and various Canteens are available inside the campus. Also Central Library is there inside the campus where students can study in exam t

Dislikes

The curriculum for 1st and 2nd semester is purely based on subjects that you studied in 11th and 12th, the advance versions of those topics are there in 1st and 2nd semester which make it difficult for students to get good grades.
The placement in other branches like Mechanical, electrical is mere, and one can face difficult in getting on campus placement if he/she belongs to these streams. Also Lack of practical knowledge is there in these streams, Theory is more focused.
If one opt for hostels, then the hostel facilities are not as good as it should be , the mess food is pathetic and one can face difficulty if he/she opt for hostel, also campartively hostel fees are also very high, whereas nearby Pg's are cheaper

Placement Experience:

placement is good in our college. Aveage package is 400000, and average package for cse stream is approx 500000. Various companies like alstom, infosys, accenture, TCS, Wipro, amazon, Walmart, JP Morgan chase and co. etc visit campus every year and recruit students. Approx 300+ companies visit campus and above 80% of cse students are placed but In other streams like ECE.EE and ME etc placements are campartively lower and students face difficulty in order to get placed. MY plan is job oriented i also want to get placed on campus and hope so i will get placed in a good company.
