Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose the B.Tech program due to its strong focus on electronic and communication technologies . The curriculum seemed well-designed to meet industry demands. The faculty members hold M. Tech or Phd in respective domains and bring. The teaching methods involve like interactive lectures, practical sessions, etc., making the learning experience engaging and applicable. Term exams were conducted in a timely manner, aligning with the academic calendar. Exams were challenging, yet fair. They tested our understanding of the material and encouraged critical thinking. While the exams were challenging, with dedication and consistent effort, passing was achievable. The faculty provided support through office hours and additional resources, aiding in comprehension.Overall, my experience with the B.Tech is good.

Approximately 80% of students secure placements each year. This percentage can vary based on individual preferences, skills, and market demands. Some students opt for higher studies, pursuing master's degrees or specialized courses. Others may venture into entrepreneurship or join startups to gain practical experience. Networking and participating in industry events can enhance post-graduation opportunities.Always verify specific details with your college's placement cell for better placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual course fee of 75000 is reasonable, considering the education provided in B.Tech in ECE. It's essential to inquire about any additional costs like textbooks, materials, or lab fees. Understanding the fees hike policy is crucial. Inquire about the frequency of hikes and the percentage increase. Explore available scholarships, such as merit-based or need-based scholarships, and their eligibility criteria. Inquire about financial aid programs offered by the institution to support students with financial constraints. Look into on-campus job opportunities, such as research assistantships, library jobs, or administrative roles. Some positions may offer stipends, providing financial support while gaining valuable work experience.Share any personal experience with campus jobs, including the type of job and stipend received. Discuss the balance between work responsibilities and academic commitments.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
