Campus Life and infrastructure and technology in one application
Exposure for students for developing important skills

Hectic schedule and the regular classes on small interval
Continuous assessment ( class test ) continuously and on short period
75% attendance criteria as when it will be not fullfill then you will be detained for exams

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty members of my course are quite decent as they clear our doubts and helps us in problem solving. There is good ratio for faculty and students like many faculties are available for every course. Faculty have done thier masters and PhD form top institutes of India as well as abroad.There are two term exams ...one is Mid term and other one is End term as well as there are certain continuous assessment going on .

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 720000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Goggle,IBM, Microsoft, BOSCH,Pega,capengimi and many more companies provide internship in my university as it has collaboration with Google and Microsoft.The highest stipend offers is 1.6lakh per month . LPU salary ranges from 2.7 lakh to 3.5 lakhs.

Placement Experience

You can avail internship from the second semester and you can sit for the placements from third year (4th semester). All the renowned companies are visited in the campus like Amazon Google tcs mahindra tech etc . And the offers made are good in numbers. The highest package offered is 3cr and average package is 4.5 lpa. About 80 percent of students are placed form this University. My plans is get a proper and decent job from this University.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no certain hike in prices in fees during the whole course.And My course fees is 90k per semester with scholarship. You can avail scholarship with the LPUNEST exam based on the criteria of your result .

Campus Life

The Campus life of my college is fabulous and grand.The annual fest happens here is Youth Vibe and it is conducted in the month of February.There is a huge library of 5 floor having reasearch, novels, courses related books .There so many clubs and societies which run by DSW(Division of Studentn Welfare).

Hostel Facilities

All the facilities are provided in the hostel rooms . There are several categories of room like one seater,two seater,three seater and four seater having ac and non- ac rooms. There is good for everyone that every rooms has geyser facility. And all the basic needs are provided for students in the rooms. The registration for hostel Is done at the time of admission but in my opinion the charges for hostel are bit High according to me.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

You have minimum 60 percentage of marks in PCM,then you are eligible for the admission in this University.And you have to give a entrance exam LPUNEST on which your scholarship will be decided further.It is a online proctored exam which you can give online or offline centres . The application form , application dates and other details will be available on the official website of LPU.

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Dislikes

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

Inside NITJ- Beyond the Brochure

Likes

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

Likes

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts
Skilled professional educators and tutors

Dislikes

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

Placement Experience:

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

Mess food was bad but it doesn't taste that bad
If we Complaint about anything college mostly ignore it

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements and tata or Infosys companies visited and about 60 to 70 percent students were placed and my plans after getting the degree is to opt for higher studies doing mtech from iit

I like the machines that's why I choose the mechanical branch in engineering line. Noida , Gurgoan , Chandigarh , Bengluru and many other areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

Dislikes

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
