A college with lots of diversity and enjoyable campus

Overall College is best. The management is working so hard and trying to be in touch with parents of every student. College management team send messages and even call students parents to give every detail like academic marks and other issues.

I choose this college due to scholarship. I had written an entrance test called LPU NEST. I scored enough to lie between first 15% students to get the scholarship.

The course structure is as per the industry and research demand today for new and updated technology. The course is design in such a manner that if someone wants to write some test like GATE or any other government examination they don't need to take extra coaching. They only need to follow the course with consistently.

The College provides internship in IT department and admission department only for final year student and the stipend start from 10000rupees and more on the bases of performance during internship. For rest, other students there is paid training and internship available in the campus by IBM and Schneider electrics

There are lots of companies come in the campus for placement an job opportunity. Company like cognizant with package of 4-5 LPA , amazone with a package of 4.5LPA, Bosch with package of 5 LPA, Net to source with package of 4 LPA , Genpact with package of 4.5 LPA, decathlon With package of 4 LPA , BSH withe package of 1.8 LPA for internship, capGemini with package of 5LPA, XLPACT with 4.5 LPA, Hind rectifire with package of 1.98 LPA, Tessolve with package of 2.5 LPA, urban pittara with package of 2.4 LPA, MANTRA with package of 5.5 LPA, Arora iron and steel industry with package of 3.5 LPA. Like so many companies come in LPU for placement it is all depend upon student struggle for placement and the placement department provide extra preparatory classes for placement.

There are lots of technical and cultural events celebrate in college. the technical event like Gokart racing and Explorica, solar car and bike race. In which the students from all over India participate in these events and there is a very good gift and presents given to the winner as well as participants.

Fess is as per student scholarship, 12th class marks and sports certification on national and state level. It different for everyone stream. But for the technical degree, a general fee without any scholarship is currently 104000 rupees. For BBA it is 59500 rupees only, for MBA it is 110000 rupees. There is a very good scholarship scheme on the bases of 12th marks, LPU NEST test marks and sports certification. Even due to the sports certification on a national level some students are studying free of cost. And for students from Punjab region, there is no tuition fee for SC and ST categories and some scholarship are available for BC and OBC category students with Punjab domicile.

The gender ratio is like 30% are girls and 70 per cent are boys. There is so many workshops are going on during courses so it helps students to learn the things practical and as per industry requirements. Culture is like different religion's of students are sitting together, eating together, study together under one roof in the campus. Diversity is very good you can find people of every religion and from all state of India. There are some students from other countries too. countries like Nepal, Bhutan, Afghanistan, Srilanka, Nigeria etc. There is no politics in this campus and their sexual orientation is good nobody will tolerate other gender students. for girls safety purpose Hostel outing timing is limited like girls can go for outing only up to 8 pm in the evening and for that, a text message will be sent to their parent's contact number

Hostels are available enough for fresher. There are different types of room facilities with the different price. It is shared and the individual room is available. Shared are like 2, 3, 4, 6 and 12 seaters room are available. Ac and NON-AC room are available. The hostels rooms are very neat and clean. Mess food is very delicious and hygiene.

Senior students are very helpful as the campus don't allow any kind of raging so the safety of new students very good. there is no difference between senior and junior. The junior can participate with senior.

It is very chilled out day during exam and practical. The exam structure is design in such a way that if a student had prepared well for internals then he/she don't need to do lots of effort for end term examination. In labs, all the instruments are off good quality and all are updated one ad per industry requirements.

I visited the campus for admission with my parents. From railway station phagwara I took a Lovely professional university bus as the college provide this service for new admission. The bus took us to admission block in campus. Their at reception I gave my LPU NEST Score card then the receptionist guided me to councilors and the councilor tolde me about my scholarship amount . then I choose my stream and after that I borrow a prospectus then the 10th and 12th mark sheet verification done and I got admission.

Most of the faculty are IIT master's degree holder or NIIT Master degree holder. The faculty is so much interested to teach the particular course that they are even ready to teach students after class in the library free of cost. Faculty give us enough extra time to teach us even after class.
