Remarks

The college ranks in top 10 colleges in Hyderabad. Though this is the case it may not be perfect the amenities provided are a bit deficient. But considering overall in all aspects the college shines among various other colleges

Entrance Preview

I took EAMCET test, I scored rank of 22k in the test, it seems that civil engineering in this college is particularly good.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course cirriculum is quite interesting and effective Though 1st year of the degree goes under the humanities and sciences department, from 2nd year the core department takes on, there are several programs conducted by the department for practical knowledge there will be a summer campaigns in every vacation,

Internships Opportunities

No the college does not provide any internships, but students have the freedom to get their own internships. And the college will give permission to complete the internships

Placement Experience

3

Placements here are moderate there are several companies comes to campus such as TCS, Capgemini, Amazon, Deloitte, Infosys and various other companies. The minimum package is of 1.5L and the highest package hired is 4.5L per annum. There will be campus recruitment training provided by the management of the college

College Events

1

There will be only one cultural event in the year that is the annual day of the college which will be in the month of feb or March. Apart from this maximum technical events are conducted by the college management. There is less chance for students to organise individual events in college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible when compared to other colleges The fee is about 75k for each year.(may change a bit) And library fee of 16k is collected once for entire 4 years. There are also NBA fee of 5k may be combined in the fee or separately collected.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are several banks which provide education loans for this college. And the college provides a merit scholarship of about rupees 3k

Campus Life

4.5

There is about a ratio of 4:1 for boys to girls, there are various workshops conducted on different aspects by different departments which are very useful. The things like cultural activities are not upto mark there will only be one annual day celebration in the month of feb or March.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

There is a college hostel for the college which charges 65k per year, they are located nearer the college and the transport facilities are provided by the hostel management. Apart from this as college is located near to kompally there are several private hostels in the area which charge about a range 4k to6k.

Alumni/Alumna

There will not be any interaction with the seniors untill the end of 1st year, then later on there will be various programs in which the senior and junior interaction increases.

Exam Structure

There are 2 semesters for each year it means a total of 8 semesters which implies 8 semester end exams. The 1st semester of every year start at june and end exams will be in the month of December. The 2nd semester starts from January and end exams will be in april. Lab externals will be conducted before end exams.

Admission

We have to submit all our certificates, and the required forms have to be filled, the administration here are a bit over reacting, try to talk gently with them. To be genuine they are not that feasible. They will provide you the fee structure, which are to be paid accordingly

Faculty

3.5

The faculty here are good, some of them may be useless and act irritating always but maximum faculty are good with students and the subjects. The minimum qualification of M. Tech is must for assistant prof. There are several Ph. D Holders in each departments and always available for guiding the students. And there will regular check of feedback given by students on the faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
