Its a huge campus with a lot of area and we can roam the campus till a time.
Here LPU have a great diversity, like there are people for every part of India
If we want to study we can access the library till 12:00 AM and there are study rooms provided in the hostel.

Dislikes

When it rains the water wont go off quickly

Course Curriculum Overview

First of all you guys should have a little bit knowledge of the course you guys are selecting. Now talking about the student ratio its a little bit high here. Most of the teachers are qualified and are friendly and good at teaching. I got my 1st term exam within a span of 5 months.

Class Size: 67Course Fees: INR 180000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Comparitively the accomodation they provide us with the fees is ok. There are many scolarships offered by the university, which may vary across different courses. Also they provide scholarships for transgenders and people with disabilities and the children of Armed forces.

Campus Life

There are many programs in the campus in which some of them will be paid and some will be free of cost. Almost all the books of every are available in the library. There are also numerous extra curricular activities here. Here we also have many clubs for the students.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities provided are good. Here we should choose type of rooms and the fees is scheduled accordingly, since I chose an a/c four seater and I got a fees around 80000 for an year. A person will be sent to your room to clean your rooom at least twice a week and there will be also flash checking in the hostel to check if any students have any unwanted things. We can register for the hostel when we do the registration process. Talking about the mess I would recommend to not to choose the mess, I would reccomend you to eat food form outside since here we have many food courts within the campus but it will increase the expense. There are many rooms and PGs availble near the campus.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

The admission process was simple. You should go the stie of lpu and from there we will get the link to proceed to admission where we sould fill our basic details and after that you willl get a call from the lpu faculty who will guide you to to the further process.There will be some reservation benefits. You should also qualify LPUNEST examination for the admission but its not compolsury for those who scored good marks at JEE.

placements at my college are very very good, as everybody gets the chance to sit for the placements at the same level. we get the placement oportunities at the 6th semster also. in my brancg it is very good

A Vibrant Campus with good learning and great opportunities

good infrastructure , large libraries and practical labs
helpful and large opportunities in campus

class size can be large , it helps every child to interact
academic work is quite high , the schedule may feel hectic especially during examination

The curriculum is relevant and covers core cse subjects like programing DSA and DBMS . it provides good fundamental for placements and further studies , more practical projects and industry based teaching would improve it .

Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.
