Likes

Various shops are there , so you don't have any problem in food.
North and South both foods are there in campus
Fresh environment because of lot of trees and green plantation

Dislikes

Security misbehaviour, sometimes they talk in a arrogant way
Lift is not working properly. In a week 2-3 lift is not working
Mess food is so bad after few months. And fees of hostel is too much

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I want to join ordinance company. And lpu provide good facilities like internship, industrial visit etc. the ratio of faculty to students is 1:20. Faculty teach us through using projector and also interact with students. But honestly if you will come lpu don't depend on faculty. You should study through your own. Because the teaching level is not upto mark. What I beleive before admission.before mid term and after mid term 3 test will be conducted. It can either be in form assignment or test . Then after that ETE exam , in MTE there will be only mcq questions along with negative marking 0.33 and in ete mcq and theory both . If you study well and more attentive in class you can clear exam easily

Class Size: 22Course Fees: INR 196000 per year

Internships Opportunities

If you want to get a internship , You can contact you placement coordinator or you can also get a internship through the company which visit in campus by giving interview. In final year you have to capstone projects along with with your few subjects and also you can do projects or research from your own or with the help of faculty.

Placement Experience

From 6 semester students are eligible for campus placement.you should have good communication skills , and other moocs courses if you want to get campus placement. Various companies are visited like caw studio ,.Infosys etc. The highest package is approx 3cr. 70-80% only students get placement. I will go for masters.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees will depend on your scholarship, how much scholarship you get , there is also other cost like hostel , mess , laundary, indoor sports etc. so min 10-12lakh will be cost of whole graduation.You can also take a loan from bank , if you can't afford , Scholarship will be provided on the basis of LPUNEST exam or on the basis of your 10 and 12 percentage, the maximum percentage will be considered.

Campus Life

In lpu every month there is fest . Either it can be in form tech fest , celebrity visit , edm night etc. In library you can get all the books related to your academic, novels , competition etc. or any other books . You can acess library books through lpu touch app. Before and after mid term there is lot of other curricular activities is conducted like spectra, one india and also sports activities like cricket, football, volleyball etc. You can join any social group through DSW department. Social group like oasis , crew etc.

Hostel Facilities

Facilities provided in room is not upto mark. According to the fee of hostel the facilities is not upto mark.and there is also electricity charges. When you take admission in first year for few months the food quality is good. But after that food quality is very bad. So I will suggest don't take mess. You can eat food from various shops. Registration process for hostel is through lpu site. There is various seater room are there 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 and also dormitory, AC and Non-AC both are there it's upto you. For every seater you have to pay different fee.i will suggest first stay at hostel for 1year then you can choose other options like pg etc. No I haven't opted for pg

Admission

You can take admission in any course by visiting site of lpu or you can also give LPUNEST exam but for that you have to pay rs.1000 as a registration fee and after that you will get scholarship. The scholarship you can also get through your 10 and 12 class , the maximum percentage should be considered as your scholarship.Maximum percentage of scholarship provided by lpu is 50%. Likes

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

Likes

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements and tata or Infosys companies visited and about 60 to 70 percent students were placed and my plans after getting the degree is to opt for higher studies doing mtech from iit

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
