Remarks

Overall the college is my second home now. It is a very good medical college, the teachers and students are amazing. But it is very difficult to get into a government medical college.

Entrance Preview

I had to clear MH CET 2014 entrance exam. There was no interview before admission and the admission was only on merit basis. My passion for Medical made me to do MBBS

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course is really interesting but difficult. MBBS is fully based on Practical learning and we have our hospital posting so we can learn.

Internships Opportunities

Yes there is a compulsory internship of one year that the students have to do. The average stipend is around ₹8000. There are debates going on to extend the internships for a duration of two years for now. The experience is tiring and very hectic.

Placement Experience

4.5

Most of the students opt for further studies. So the college doesn't provide any placements. But after the degree you can open up a clinic of your own if you want. The college does provide a compulsory internships though.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I have to pay ₹63700 annual fee which includes tuition + hostel fees. It is quite affordable as it includes everything, from staying to eating to studying.

Hostel Facilities

3

I reside in hostel. The hostel room are okay types they can be better . For 1st and 2nd year students they provide 1 room for 3 students . And from 3rd year you have your own single room . The hostel washrooms are clean and there is no prob of water-supply. The hostel mess is really bad no proper food

Exam Structure

The exams are really tough and the most difficult is the viva part. They are not frequent but 3 times annually

Faculty

4

The teaching faculty is really well qualified. They have completed their post and experienced with more than 10 years of practice.

The course is standard for all MBBS courses. There are theory lectures and practical classes. Hospital exposure begins in the second year onwards. Current revisions in the course like introduction of logbook etc are unnecessary and time consuming.
