Course Curriculum Overview

4

I always aspired to become a doctor and the current Curriculum with aetcom is designed as to prepare more clinically competent doctors with real world application. The examinations need improvements as to be more objectives focused which can help with further exams like pg

Internships Opportunities

4

Internship is split between the tha terna hospital and NMMC Vashi so plenty patient exposure which certainly helps develope over clinical skills. We also have Gavhan PHC attached so even grass root kevel exposure can be obtained

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for the year 24-25 was Rs.8,98,000 which is increased since i took admssion. I will be starting my final year and my fees was Rs.7,00,000. There are OBC, ST/SC, NT VJ reservations. EWS Quota is there. Students from Open category with who fall into EBC category can avail scholarship from Mahadbt

Campus Life

4

The campus is okayish. Not the best. It is improving theres a big turf and now pickleball courts have also been built. Revive our fest is on a rise in popularity like last year we had Shankar Mahadevan performing giving us recognization among other popular fest the fest also has other actvities likes sports fashion shows dance competitions etc

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostels was comoulsory when i took admission but i think it is not now. The hostel is goo though the rooms are spacious with 24hr water supply. Clean drinking water and timely cleaning service. Other than hostels there are plenty pgs and rentel flats available around the main and college campus

Admission

This was the first preference for me. I knew i would get this college with the marks i got. Even though its a private college the fees was affordable and it being in mumbai certainly helps with connections and better job opportunities

Faculty

3.5

The faculty is good. They take all there classes. Its on how much attention you want to pay in the class. Students can ask them doubts after the class as they are available in their respective departments. The faculty to student ratio is good there is no load on the faculty for completing the syllabus all goes smoothly

Night Life

4

There are plenty of gyms around the main campus. Plenty of places to eat like cafes, mess and it being near to railway station certainly helps with commute. Seawoods is near which is happening hostels timings are strict 10 pm after which no one is allowed out without permission

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is standard for all MBBS courses. There are theory lectures and practical classes. Hospital exposure begins in the second year onwards. Current revisions in the course like introduction of logbook etc are unnecessary and time consuming.
