It has the biggest cricket ground as compared to all the Engineering colleges in Ahmedabad. Anad probably the largest campus as well.
Entrance Preview
I appeared in JEE year 2015. I got my admissions through the traditional process of merit list of the state university. Well Civil engineering is my passion. That's why I chose civil.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course is very good for the employment point of view. If someone is willing to do a good job then this field is a bit harder to get one. If you have an idea for research then faculties will definitely help you but not financially.
Internships Opportunities
Same. I am in 3rd year so haven't gone for an internship. Stipend is of about 12000-15000 per month for the students of ME/M.TECH
Placement Experience
I haven't been through such process. So I have not that much idea about the placement process and the numbers
College Events
There are so many events and fest which take place every year. Each of them is BIG. Xitij, Lakshya , gtu tech fest are some of the events which take place in this college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
You can graduate 5 times in INR. 1LAC. CD ₹6000 per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are government scholarships for different minor casts . but college doesn't offer you additional amount for your academics. As far as I know.
Campus Life
There is a community for cultural events LAA and for technical events ROBOCON.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are not that good as per my opinion. But for ₹50/night it is OK. 3 members per room.
Alumni/Alumna
Facebook page, WhatsApp groups and etc. Yearly get together is planned every or twise a year.
Exam Structure
Exams will not bother mentally that much. But at the end of the semester the submission of term work will do.
Faculty
Faculties are decently qualified not HIGHLY qualified. All of them have their masters degree in their specialized fields. Few of then are PhD as well. Teaching standard is good for a average student who has basics clear.
