Course Curriculum Overview

4

I opted for Geography because I find it highly captivating. There are over 70 students in our department. Any students from any stream can apply for the faculty. Teaching methods were very good and teachers are very supportive. Exams were held twice a year, regular assignment were also assign. The difficulty of the exam was moderate.

Fees and Financial Aid

Everything was affordable. The admission fee were charged only Rs. 3500 per yr. While for the arts students form fillup fee was 1200 per semester. Which have to be paid twice a year. Scholarship ware available for reserve students ie SC, ST, OBC. All expenses can be easily covered from the scholarship amount. The major cons of the college was that, they couldn't provide on campus job placement.

Campus Life

4.5

Most of the days only few students attained the college. The college life was calm, peaceful and surrounded by nature. The major fest of the college are, Freshers meet, teachers day, foundation day and annual sports meet. All the necessary resources like notes journals previous years questions notes and important papers are available in the library. The teacher were also ready to help if we find any difficulty. The extra curricular activities include students ellection, publishing magazing, yoga class and NCC.

Admission

There are no any particular eligibility requirements for admission. We just needed to pass 12exam from recognized school. Admission process didn't involved any entrance test. We just needed to filled an admission application form. After that College issue a chelan, which have to be paid in a local bank. Usually admission form are available in July. Various reservation seats are also available. It would be more convenient if the admission process are available online.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had no specific course set in my at that moment but out of all, English seemed quite well-performing department among other departments. Plus it was not too difficult to start with as English was a common subject and we were used to it. The classroom buildings were not too good but it was manageable. At first day the classroom seemed small and wasn't able to fit in all of the students, but gradually the attendance kept decreasing which is a common thing and now only 60 of us are attending the classes. The teachers are well qualified with a Doctorate qualification and I don't have anything bad to say about them. Their teaching methods are easy to understand, and they're punctual; they don't usually skip classes. The exams on the other hand was the most disappointing thing about this college. Every exams were delayed atleast 2 months, and due to that out classes always started later than other colleges. The difficulty level is moderate but more than 50% students didn't manage to pass.
