Remarks

It was over all a great experience .It taught me a lot of things. Enjoyed , loved the people there and can't forget the feel of being there. Infrastructure is very much perfect.

Entrance Preview

No, there was no such entrance given for admission. I took direct admission. There was a Normal interview round and paragraph writing test. After that i got an email for the confirmation of my seat. Various career opportunities and development in the field of journalism and mass communication made me choose this course.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

It was great. The course teaches you not one thing but a lot things which gives you so many number of options for your career. A lot of practical training, sessions and seminars are being conducted by the college. A complete professional platform was there to improve practical knowledge. Yes, college also supported in research projects and take initiatives to take them to higher level.

Internships Opportunities

No we were not provided by internship by college. We had to find one by ourselves. I didn't avail any internship. Often heared that there are both kind of internships paid and unpaid.

Placement Experience

0.5

It was pathetic though Placement faculty could just bring internships that too at very worst places. The major companies were Wipro, IBM, Genpact, TCS etc. The average package is around 4-5lkhs.

College Events

5

Amity fest and activities are one of hottest parties and most talked thing across the city. There are departmental fests also which takes place block wise. The footfall is huge and same for the arrangements or the events. The fests lasts for 2-3 days including the star night. The security and facilities were very perfectly managed by the authorities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was bit on a higher side though. I mean per semester I was paying 95K and now the fees have increased more. So, for any three year course we have to pay more than 5lkhs. And it is not easily affordable by any of the middle class family.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, Amity did provided scholarships but I didn't avail any. No, there is no help from the college regarding the loans.

Campus Life

5

Our college is best i may say in regards with the extracurriculars. Sometimes even had to skip our classes to attend the events. Yes, the college provided ample opportunities to students to explore their talents and get world class exposure. The facilities are very excellent for the same.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

No, i was a local student so hadn't availed any hostel facility. I don't know about hostel much. Yes, PGs are available in various nearby societies but they are few km away from the campus.

Alumni/Alumna

No, there was no student alumni interaction provided by the College. Also haven't seen any alumni putting efforts for college development.

Exam Structure

Exams happened every semester but yes was supposed to make lot of projects which was good too for learning. So the both are a bit difficult to manage thats why exams make me feel tired sometimes. So according to me it was not a chill culture.

Faculty

4

Faculties are excellent i must say, their appearance shed their professionalism. The sessions taken by them were very interactive as well. And moreover they used to take initiative to teach us and not just bookish thing but practical things as well. Overall standard of teaching is world class.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers all essential topics required for higher studies. The curriculum is detailed and helps build strong subject basics. Teaching methods are traditional, so adding more interactive sessions and skill-based learning would be a great improvement. Exams take place every semester along with internal class tests, which helps in continuous evaluation without extra stress

Placement Experience:

Placements in our College are decent. Students become eligible from the 5th/6th semester, and companies from media, PR, and digital marketing fields visit for recruitment. The placement cell also provides training, internships, and guidance. After graduation, I plan to explore both campus and off-campus opportunities in media and communication fields.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm from humanities background so the course is quite relevant for me. The course is quite outdated however it's the same for most of the universities. the curriculum should be aligned with the competitive exams and the teaching methods should be more inclusive about the competitive exams so that the student can prepare well not only for the present course but also further upcoming exams.
