Nirma University Ahmedabad, BE/B.Tech

Reviewed on Nov 1, 2017(Enrolled 2014)

Remarks

They don't provide hostel facility is somewhat bad for me. Otherwise Nirma is the best from all the aspects. And also they don't provide internship is again a bad thing about for such a great institute like Nirma.

Entrance Preview

They fill their 50% of seats with gujcet marks + GSEB board mark they consider 40%of gujcet and 60% of GSEB marks and other 50% they fill with JEE.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

As I said earlier I have taken computer engineering and really really really it is the best in Nirma .yes! Other thing is that they do more focus on practical learning rather than book related studies.

Internships Opportunities

No they don't provide any internship in best of my knowledge. As they don't provide any internship students get little bit trouble. Most of the facilities have been done masters and Ph.D also in their respective subject .

Placement Experience

Placement scenario is very good in Nirma. Around 90 to 95 % students got placed from Nirma. Average package is around 5 to 6 lakh per year. And for computer engineering Accenture TCS etc multinational companies come for placement some good local companies are also there.

College Events

4.5

Yeah! There is a plenty of events like techfest, Cultural events, sports events, you can say all the events related to your interest is in Nirma and related to your field also.a

Fee Structure And Facilities

Total fee of Nirma for 1year is around 150000 Yes this fees is bit higher but they provide quality education for the same.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes! There is plenty of chances for scholarships in Nirma.they give merit based scholarships for newcomers and also for whom who clear first year with first, second or third rank. And also for the good scholars

Campus Life

As there are many events we can say Nirma is pretty good in extracurricular activities.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

For b.tech students no hostel facility is in Nirma

Alumni/Alumna

Good alumni association is there .they provide us help in if we have any quarry about our course if about University.

Exam Structure

There is three exam conducted per semester. 1st is class test, 2nd is midterm, and final us final exam for semester end.

Faculty

4.5

All the faculties are well experienced they are with minimum experience of 10years in their respective subject. Most of the facilities have been done masters and Ph.D also in their respective subject .

Good Learning Experience with Scope for Improvement

Likes

Helpful teachers and a friendly campus environment.
Good classrooms and learning facilities.
Supportive faculty and a positive learning atmosphere.

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities are moderate and depend on students' skills. More companies, internships, and career guidance would improve placements. After completing my course, I plan to seek a good job and develop my professional skills.

The parul university review

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

Likes

The collage infrastructure is really good and vibrant, it is well developed.
Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,
