Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is well organised. The faculty members are well behaved, professional and fast paced. Most professors are very open with students to help them out. Teaching method is wonderful, course syllabus was completed way before time. Exams are held in a very timely manner and keeping in mind students ease.

Class Size: 250Course Fees: INR 2000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement cell is formed in a professional manner. Headed by student coordinators of the department. From semester 2 onwards students become eligible for sitting in placements. Top IT companies like EXL, HSBC Bank, Genpact, Accenture, Infosis and many other companies come for recruitment. Decent package is provided. Average package is 6LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is very minimal in comparison to other private universities. Government aided scholarship - K3 is given to female students. Students need to apply for scholarship following the process to be notified by university. Department of Economics, CU has a placement body and it provided good amount of placements.

Campus Life

Life at campus is a mixed surrounding - enjoyable, serious classes, fun in canteen area. Library is well maintained. Fest and social events are top notch. Extra curricular activities like carrom competition, cricket, football, chess is held every year. Picnic is organised as well.

Admission

For MSc course, Eligibility is Graduation and 55% score. Application form is published in the main website of the university. There is no application fees. Merit Based Admission was followed, thereby merit lists were published in the website.

Niper Kolkata: from starting to end

Placement Experience:

2nd year students are eligible for the campus placement. Sai, Hetero, mendine, dr. Reddys etc companies visities for the campus placement. Offers ranges from 5-12 lpa. 60% students gets placed, 10% goes for higher studies and others get job off campus in my department. Other departments has 100% placement. My plans are pHd from Niper as it provides vast knowledge and instrumental exposure.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement of our university is quite good and it is getting better day by day. Especially our chemistry department is doing great in this field. Last year our dept almost hit 100% placements and the highest package was of 5 lpa. I am planning to peruse my PhD after MSc.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 3rd semester for campus placements. Well reputed companies visits our University and they make approximately 10 offers and after interview they selected multiple candidates. Most of the companies offer approx 1-2 LPA. Almost 80% of students getting placement.

Over 100 years old medical College

Admission:

Our college is over a century old medical college established in 1914. With Bachelor's in Biotechnology I applied for Masters program here. The college has very limited seats for the course. Admissions was done through entrance exam followed by an interview cum evaluation. I cleared both the rounds to get admission.

Remarks:

Our college is one of the best degree college in the area. Professors are highly effective. Bus stand and rail station are 5 minutes away from college,so student can easily come.Office staff are also helpful.Library and reading room are also in good condition.Hostel facility is also available. Besides there are a no. of mess near the college for staying.

Perfect campus for economics student

Admission process are very simple. Generally entrance exam was conducted for admission but I took admission just after COVID so I didn't give any entrance exam. But cutt off was very high. At least 70 percent marks in graduation are mandatory to take admission in this university on the merit basis. Application form are generally found on University official website in August.
